I both like this, and dislike this.
A camscore doesn't really tell you how good a model is as a person, it just says how much she makes verses how much she's on, and so on.
Think of how much more stressed a lot of girls are going to get now that it's listed on their profile. Stress is not cool. So if anyone is worried about that I hope you can keep it off of your mind.
Also there's not a way to turn it off without the bug that Frankie found.

For what it's worth, and my opinion only, the only relative importance of the camscore is where it places you on the homepage for noobs. I couldn't care less how the site rates you, but understand why they do.
It doesn't mean diddly to anyone that has been around the site for any amount of time.

I doubt it being listed on the profile will affect the seasoned camgirls who have figured out that the camscore, like the cake, is a lie.
I think those who do wish to keep track of it are happy they can easier (as has been said already), those who don't care still don't care, and those who didn't know about it will freak out for awhile until they too figure out that it is a lie (or find a way to increase it).

At last! Never understood why something that i think is actually important to a model was made such a pain for them to find out.
I think the point about the camscore is if you have a high camscore, new visitor to the site see you first and therefore are more likely to visit you and may therefore stay, thus giving you the lionshare of the new money, so having a high cam score can be important, this is why many want a higher camscore, especially if it means they are on the first page now that the number of models has risen to the point that default settings on initial visit to the site can mean that there is 3 or 4 pages of models for visitors/members to go through thus reducing the chances of those with lower camscore of getting customers.
Knowing how the camscore works and can be increased/decreased i think should be made available to all models so they can do what is needed to get themselves if they wish to where they want to be and not make it some kind of mystery thing that is a special kind of secret that has become suspicious to many who worry that it is being manipulated to favour certain models, i am sure some models have left because they think this is the case.
I hope i have made sense, I am a bit brain dead right now with my meds lol.
I know the girls with regulars who bring them in a reasonable and regular income may not be to bothered but what about if that dries up which can happen all to often.
When we found a way to boost the camscore we made certain to do it,and it has helped a great deal by the comments and number of visitors to the rooms involved. The models have since found a much better increase in earnings and dont have so many long quiet periods. Food for thought?

Changing anything on your profile seems to make your camscore show up. Just a warning for girls that don't particularly care or want their scores on their profiles.

As for effects of this, lately the loungers have been using cam-scores more and more to discus models - as if the score matter. But hey, we all know how much most loungers matter >_>

Argh, one problem. The camscore isn't updating on the profiles. I just compared my camscore the old way through the menu and the one on my profile. I had to update my profile to get it to change. That's gonna piss me off if we have to do that every time we want it to update.
Oh hell yeah it'll piss me off. Especially with how MFC fucks up HTML so I have to re-enter code again every damn time.

I keep my html in a notepad. You just gotta copy-paste it, cause a text document won't change it to something unrecognizable when you save.

Oh yeah, but having two word pads, and then backups encase you fuck up, and all that, it just gets tedious when MFC could simply fix their code bugs.

I know the feeling. I had a copy on my desktop and on my flash drive after my first computer died and eventually I got lost. If I was in a rush I didn't have time to find the right place or update properly but if you weren't going to change it that much it wouldn't be a bad idea. Although I agree MFC should fix the bug since you put the effort in for the coding not them.

Actually, the reason I keep it isn't because of the code bugs...
It's because they're so long that it's tedious to edit it within the context of that tiny square they allow for the responses.
As far as backing it up goes, I can just copy-paste it from the mfc edit screen. Just means I have to fix where the lines are.
