I want to start doing a bit of advertising to promote my room. Are Instagram and X/Twitter the best?. Do you open the account in your cam name then just follow and comment on models posts who are similiar to myself?. How do you make sure they don't pick up on what you do and not get banned?.

I advertise on tiktok only right now. I use #spicycontent instead of straight up saying I'm a swer. I hide my camsites behind an 18+ allmylinks but it's listed in my tiktok bio. Basically I just post thirst traps and hope lol. Sometimes if I post right before i go on stream, i have a busier stream.

i haven't come across any other cam girls or even of girls honestly but I know they're out there; my algorithm just wants to show me political stuff. Maybe I should be looking them up more to support them by liking/reposting. Definitely something for me to consider now.

Many cam models use Pornhub to upload sexy videos and attract male users to their live streaming platform. This allows them to leverage Pornhub's traffic to drive viewers to their live streams, increasing interaction and donations.;)

I don't often find new ACF posters quote-worthy, but this one is actually kinda spot on.

You'll need a model account on Pornhub to upload your own clips (I've got a referral link in my signature by the way, shameless plug since this is my forum and all... ahem...) and you can have watermarks on the video itself with your links/username/etc for your cam or content site. I do get a LOT of traffic to my onlyfans this way.

I do still get a lot of traffic from my Twitter as well, but I've grown mine since 2009 and have had over 60k followers since then, so I'm not sure if making one now and trying to grow it (in it's current state now that Elon has ruined a lot of it). HOWEVER, having one as a landing page is still a thought, since they're one of the few social media platforms that allow nudity/adult images (just have to mark your account as such.)

Gonna tack on to this that if you have a bunch of things you want to drive traffic to (cam room, onlyfans clipsites etc), get a domain name and point it to a link tree or similar page. It's not going to benefit you as much if you watermark it with something like lnk.tree/7hd7xc using something like modelname.com is easier for people to type and remember.

It also gives you more options in the future like setting up a mailing list so you can email people who have shown interest in your content things like if you have a big event planned for cam or you are running a sale on of or content etc. It's a little more involved to set up and had a bit of a learning curve but can be worth while.

a domain name is like $10, if you go through namecheap or cloudflare then the privacy protection is free, wherever you get it from you want to make sure it has the privacy protection. IMO it's proberly one of the lowest cost / highest return investments you can make.

You make a very good point. I've noticed that some well-known media editors register domain names using their own names and create personal websites to promote themselves.
