Public shows on SM

I've not seen anyone do a public show on Streamate since I started? Has anyone else? Or is it banned? Apologises if this has already been covered but I couldn't find a similar post anywhere! x

You can't be completely naked on SM in freechat. It's not formatted for public shows. Gold Shows are for that.

Sorry I worded it badly. By public I meant in public, like libraries, parks etc.

Make sure it's not an easy to recognize local or you might get caught like this girl did.

That said, I suppose you also have to factor how you plan to get internet in public and if you're paying for that how much you have to make to offset the performance.

Personally I think if you're in the UK with the current law and political climate it would be too much of a liability to try it.

Since you can get terminated if anyone who's not registered on the site shows up on your stream, and it's impossible to be 100% sure that won't ever happen if you stream in public places, you are taking a needless risk. And don't think you won't be reported for that kind of thing. You will be.

I'm going to repeat what I said in your other thread because I think public shows are so stupid and can get you into a lot of legal trouble and isn't worth the potential hundreds of dollars.

please do not cam in public places. more than likely, that will lead to you getting into trouble. if the law gets involved, you will be charged with a sex crime and wound up on the sex offender list. the pros don't really out way the cons. also unauthorized users will get you suspended. the second time you get caught, you will be banned. please just comfort at your own home if you can.

Be smart. Also forgot to add, this may get you outed. Because your legal name will be in public record if caught. Newspapers care about juicy stories, they don't care about your well being or feelings.

Streamate told me that shows on my private property backyard were fine, as well as a show in the back seat of a van, but said to "use your discretion."

I saw a top model once do a show from her campsite.

To avoid getting banned, always email support before a show just to confirm it is indeed allowed!

Yup I did one ages ago in my backyard after they said it was ok. Basically they simply want you to be careful not to get caught by passersby so nothing will get in the media.

Your backyard may be outdoors, but it's not a public area like a library or a park.

It's been done on MFC a couple times, not sure about SM.

I know of one camgirl who faked one. She lived in the boons and dragged a picnic table out to the corner of her yard.

If doing a fake public show, I'd make sure you either clear it with support first or else not make it look real. You wouldn't want to get banned and then have to convince support afterward that it wasn't what you worked so hard to make it look like in case someone reports you.
