I'm a new model on MFC and I am from Canada, here in Canada at the moment there is a postal strike for who knows how long. I want to get paid on time (or semi on time) instead of hoping my payoneer card doesn't get lost as the piles of mail stack up..I see on the website there is the option of being paid through paypal, but there is no wiki on it. I know that paypal doesn't allow sex-related payments, so I am worried if I accept the paypal method and transfer it to my bank that its going to get frozen and seize my funds. Do any of you know if its safe to get paid from the site with paypal?
Thanks. :)

Direct deposit is only available to US, and a bank wire xfer is kind of expensive (as MFC charges you, and the bank may also charge you to receive it)... in my case, MFC wouldn't do an international bank wire :/

Yeah, you need to have made 1000 dollars to do it internationally wired anyways right now. Like I said I am new.. I just want to know if paypal is okay to do.

Jaime, I'm not really sure -- but it might be worth while to mail MFC about this.

I saw the Paypal option too, but I don't want to take the risk.

However, the govt. has just passed the "back to work" legislation on Saturday night after the NDP filibuster, so Canada Post workers will be delivering mail again starting tomorrow. I'd really look in to signing up for Payoneer :)

sweet thats news I am glad to hear.. so I will just stick with payoneer then lol I hadn't heard anything on the news about it and was getting very frustrated. Hey, do you know if they will convert the money to Canadian for me? Will I be able to take the money out of an atm here? Sorry I am pretty new to this and don't understand everything. :P

say no to paypal.. if they decide that any transaction made is adult (they don't need proof, just someone to flag it as adult) then they keep your money for a MIN of 180 days... and ban you for life..

(I'm one of the banned, I had been with paypal for 12 years.. then last year, before I even did anything cam related.. Someone emailed them and told them I accepted paypal payments for adult webcam masturbation shows, within the day my account was "limited" aka shut down.. I called them repeatedly about it and the first guy I talked to basically admitted they were fucking me over but there wasn't anything I could do about it unless I could get the other department to email me back and tell me I could dispute it... Ironically.. Even though I do work on MFC now, I still don't do masturbation shows... oh and last week they finally let me get the money that was in my paypal since last year)

this happened to me, except i could take the money out right away, but i did lose $250 in ebay gift cards that a member had given me (and i'll never get that back). it wasn't even an adult transaction that was flagged, but you are not given any opportunity to dispute. there is absolutely no way to appeal the decision. the worst part was i had sent money that i owed to my (exboyfriend) that same day, and they flagged his account and shut it down as well. and he had done nothing adult related. i wish allll cam girls would realize it WILL (more than likely) happen eventually, and all of us should boycott paypal until it stops acting as a victorian-era tyrant. /rant

You lost $250 in ebay gift cards? Did the member who had given them to you get the money back, or did Ebay (since they own paypal) just create $250 of profit?
