Result of interview

I know some of you wanted to know how that went, so here goes...

The interviewer looked kind of like NaughtyNaomi with shorter hair, a slightly shorter yet wider nose, and wore glasses.

She was impressed with my technical test scores for the type of position I'm applying for.
I stumbled a few times in the interview despite all my preparation, but overall I think I left a favourable impression.
She didn't say "Okay, you start tomorrow" right in the interview itself. Actually, do any places do that, or is that only in the fictional world?

If I get an offer, the pay is not going to be a lot, but I figure it will be sufficient for the short term.

Depends on the position/place/whatever. I once had a job interview as a network admin - I was right out of college. The company was in a bad spot because their old network admin was killed in a car accident earlier in the week and they needed someone ASAP. It was a small company of only 15 employees and was in rural Iowa - so finding someone with technical skills is hard. I started working immediately after the interview (and was with the company for almost 4 years before I moved on to better things).

it hasnt happened to me but a friend of mine was driving home when his dad called him saying the office called the house and offered him the job (this was 10 min after the interview was over)

They called me a couple hours later the day I interviewed for my current job.

Well now that you mention it, I'm not even sure what TYPE of job he was interviewing for. Maybe it was meant to sound dirty.

Um... you got me. It's a super bodybuilder modeling position where I, with my massive muscles and perfect posture, get to hang out in photo shoots with cute female humans in their mid to late twenties, with heights about 5'2" to 5'5", weights between 131 and 138 pounds, minimal piercings, all teeth accounted for, and natural 32DD to 32F breasts, yet have a fun and friendly personality. And I'll get roughly $250 per day, tax free.

...I wish.

Anyway, I should be hearing from these people soon.
