I just got off the phone with my wife who went back to Russia to visit her family. She told me that the last 3 days the Webcam Studio that her sister and her worked at was shut down. The police came in and arrested all the models in not just their studio but other studios as well. The police took the models to Jail and are giving these models up to 5 years in prison, without even going to court or anything. They also have confiscated the computers and information at these studios and are rounding up models that work for these studios as well. Thank god my wife and sister were not working that day.

So if wondering whats happening to some of the models in Russia, this could be the reason for their sudden absence. I think its a real shame whats happening over their.

I just wanted to let people know.

I don't know about just recently but it has happened in the past.
Couple of years ago before the main Ukraine invasion there was at least 2 different companies that got their studios raided and shut down, one even made rk news.
Most of the girls were let go but they arrested admins and other staff. They did rearrest some of the girls and put into jail that they thought might have had more stuff to tell and one of the ladies I follow has had to flee abroad. Think they also knocked on a few independent girls doors too just to give a warning.

Last time this happened some of the other studios gave girls the equipment and broadcast from home temporarily until things died down.
Smart money says the police already know where most of the studios are, they're just easily bribed, they probably also check this site out too (hey guys if you r reading, your president is a shit stained nazi cunt)

I don't know why Russia made it illegal, would add millions a week for the country if people didn't have to fear knock at the door.
I hope all girls from the studio r safe

I'm in close communication with a couple of models who work in different regions of Russia and I have not heard of any new national policy or pressure from Moscow - though nowadays, with freedom spiraling downward in Russia, it wouldn't surprise me.

As I understand it, crackdowns on cam studios have been a very local phenomena, with politicians in some areas pushing raids from time to time to impress the public with their "morality." The studios that remain in business a long time are almost always bribing the local police district. In some cases, local politicians even had a financial stake in the studios.

When raids have occurred, they are often of the studios that were not operating with the "blessing" of local politicians or police. The authorities will make a show of it and put photos of the models in the local paper, but usually they are let go and only the operators are charged.

Again, maybe your wife knows of a new enforcement push that is coming down the road, with Putin's return to "Russian family values." If so, that's scary for a lot of models in Russia.

In Ukraine-Russia there are no laws against online broadcasts and webcams. Of course, the production of custom videos can be considered a violation of the law of creating and distributing porn.

I'm sorry to tell you that in Venezuela happen a lot and independents modelos are in clandestine it is impossible to work with fear that they can invent terrible charges a friend and a boy have a sentence 19 years in prison they already have 3

Wear did u hear or know this?
There's literally russian news footage of one of the studios that got shut down.
Maybe not the use of webcam but definitely the getting undressed on webcam for $ is not OK in Russia.
Belarus too.

The relevant law in Russia is Article 242 of the Criminal Code - Illegal production of pornographic materials. It makes illegal the "production, distribution, or public demonstration of pornography." There's a technicality because usually, whatever is happening on the webcam is not being saved locally. So if they raid a studio, there isn't usually a lot of porn on the hard drives of the computers. Anything saved is on servers at cam sites or other locations, not even in the country. Still, the authorities have gotten more sophisticated about this and if they want to, it isn't too difficult for them to make a link between what the models are doing in the studio and evidence that "porn" was produced or distributed.

Key phrase is: if they want to. As I understand it, most studios in Russia remain open by regularly paying off the police. Studios that get busted are often more shoddy operations that are trying to get away without paying authorities to look the other way.

However, things are getting worse in Russia and who knows what "crackdowns" could be coming. After all, porn is just another product of the "evil West," right?
;)

Your technicality dosnt work out because temp files are a thing. so the video encoding is saved (all be it for short periods of time) in temporary files

In the past, it was probably moot. They didn't do much of anything except line the models up for a humiliation photo for the local paper, and occasionally charge the owners and extract a big fine. This was all show. No one was doing any serious forensic investigation. The local police just wanted to make sure that there were no rogue studios (studios not paying bribes).

Now it might be different, I don't know if there's any serious push. Corruption still rules, so I think most studios will keep paying someone to let them operate unless Putin launches a big moral crusade.

Despite all the bribery to look the other way, studio houses do get raided from time, usually because a competitor has donated extra to disrupt their operations, or as a reminder why they pay to be overlooked.
Early in 2021, several studios introduced a policy of non-nude shows in public broadcasts, and only nudity and visible toy use in private - hoping to get around the "public demonstration" clauses of the laws referred to above. Didn't work, the authorities just switched over to citing the production and dissemination of it during private shows, along with a bunch of lesser-used morality laws.
And the studios (and models) hurt for a while with the lower income, so as always, the risk became tolerable against the higher profits, and nudity returned in the public shows.

What the fucking fuck! How the hell did they think that would be accepted?
Reminds me of a South Park episode where the chief police dresses up as hookers and arrests the John after they've screwed him (still not as funny as him in one of the games trying to claim he's not racist "oh next you are going to tell me Lovecraft was a racist")

Again Russia would make so much if they just let it happen legally. I mean have you ever noticed how many girls who have a fansly account instead of onlyfans on the front pages of cb?
Christ apparently Putin is looking into making a russian games console after seeing how much money the switch/ps/xbox bootlegs make (you just know if there's only one game machine that's listens in on what you say, it's going to be that one)

The more I hear of the shit girls I follow have had to put up with, the angrier I get, if i knew someone in person who was thinking about webcaming im not sure i would recommend it. If I was rich I would look at setting up some sort of professional site/service to support adult streamers if they need legal advice/recommendations on studios/hunt down blackmailers and kick them in the crotch etc etc.

😢😢😢 Russia is still too strict unfortunately, different culture, different laws etc. We had these also in Romania but in 99% of the cases Models weren't affected much by authorities, just as witnesses, interogatories and so on, but no Jail as far as I know.

✅✅✅ STOP THE WAR ✅✅✅ Make love Xlove ❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯😇😇😇
In romania camming is alowed ., problems been with studious not paying taxes , or models under 18 .
But in russia is not alowed same as in moldova, as i know makedonia , turkey, so if its not alowed they risking and look whats happening .

Hard to imagine a DA trying to take those cases into court.

But your post reminded me that in Ukraine, a few years ago, the government formed a special law enforcement unit to go after police who would arrest (or threaten to arrest) sex workers and then demand sexual services from them in exchange for allowing them to keep working. Apparently, this problem is so common in Ukraine that it had become normal police operating procedure to demand sexual favors. As part of the various anti-corruption efforts, they needed a recruit a separate police force to "police the police." 😆

I don't know if that also happens in Russia routinely but would not surprise me. I do know some years back, Russia tried a new strategy of drastically raising the pay for police, the idea being it would reduce the temptation to take bribes. I don't think it worked, in part because when corruption goes all the way to the top, it's just a way of life.

They only got in trouble cause one of the escorts was super petty n they kept targeting her n she got passed n got a good lawyer. When I worked at the club. The undercover officer would buy 2 lap dance when arrest you.if you broke the law the first song why did they need a second. I was changed with prostitute for a lap dance. This was like 15 years ago about
