Skype Prime is a service that allows people to register as advisors and conduct paid calls with other people. An advisor gets paid by the minute, and the customer uses Skype credit to pay the advisor. Skype Prime rules do not mention anything with regards to adult entertainment, so it does not seem to be prohibited. Skype takes 30% of the customers's money as a service fee and pays the advisor 70%.

It appears to me that for models who already give Skype shows to regulars for tokens, Paypal or other payment means, Skype Prime is just a better option. It probably provides more anonymity than Paypal. It sometimes provides better quality than cam sites. And compared to all cam sites that I know of, 30% is a really modest fee.

If you are a model or a customer who used Skype Prime for shows, could you share your experience?

Considering a girl on MFC could make about the same % as well as have it help their camscore, I'd say it's not a MUCH better option. But if a girl wanted to operate completely within MFC's rules of not arranging off-site cam shows, this would be the way to go.

So long as it's a trusted way to receive money and there aren't any other hidden fees involved.

Thank you, Amber. Your answer leads to a topic that is probably as old as it is painful on your web site: MFC vs Streamate. MFC shows cost members at least $5/min and pay the model $3/min. This is a good deal for models, but the model cannot vary this price, which may make her work less efficient. The ability to set the price is offered by Streamate, but their payout is much less advantageous to the models. In order for a model to make $3/min, she has to charge the member $8-9/min. At the same time, Skype Prime has both: high payout and flexible price. What Skype Prime does not have is, of course, member traffic, but if you are arranging shows on your own web site, Twitter, email, etc., it does not matter.

As to whether Skype Prime is a trusted method of payment and whether there are any hidden fees, that is what I would like to know, too.

Perhaps a few seconds of Google might add to the decision...

Skype Prime is a discontinued product for Skype 4.0 for Windows and below, which contained a directory list of advisors (“call providers”) who offer advice or skills training over Skype. Calls are charged at a rate both callers and advisors agree to, and a percentage of this fee goes to Skype. Its use is restricted to callers and providers aged 18 or over.
It is no longer possible to register to become a Skype Prime call provider, although it is still possible to make and receive Skype Prime calls.
...22-11-2011 Skype Prime is no longer supported. It seems as if Skype just neglected to remove that package from its' website.
*...the PayPal account associated with your Skype Prime account.

And that about cracks the nut.
Even if you did use S.P. any unsatisfied asshat can very easily report your acct to Paypal and you lose it all.

Well then I suppose this topic is over. ;)
