In case anyone was wondering... here's the story/rant:

My neighbor and I got into a fight over stupid shit. Started over my kids being too loud in the hall way. She was cursing at them. I told her not to talk to my kids like that.., blah blah blah... Next thing I know we're in each others faces. I get socked in the side of the head, I came back with a fist to her mouth. Bf came and broke it up pretty fast.
Well it's bad enough to curse in front of kids, but it was that she was cursing *at* my kids that really got me heated. I'm not one to advocate violence at all. (to the contrary, I'm really big on the art of "fighting w/o fighting" as Bruce Lee put it on the Movie Enter the Dragon) but this woman (if u can call her that... more like a ghetto child really, no I've seen children in the ghetto w/ more class then her, so I take that back... she's just an idiot) thinks that just cause she got like 300 lbs on me, that she can bully me by pushing her weight around (pun VERY intended) and getting up in my face... well i got right back in her face damnit. then she blind sided me by punching me in the side of my head...? really?! I'm sorry, are we teenagers back in high school out on the quad outside of the cafeteria or something? cause I could have swore we (well at least I) were adults living in grown up world here if I'm not mistaken. I really didn't even see that coming, I was totally taken off guard by that. then in a total "knee jerk" reaction I immediately swing and hit her with a closed fist right in her mouth. Now she's got a fat lip to go with her fat body, dumb bitch. but I really wish I wouldn't have done that looking back on it. By doing that, now I can't press charges, I'm not one to go calling the cops, but in this case, I would have loved to see her sit her ass in jail and learn that in the adult world, there is consequences 4 our actions. anyways sorry about the rant.

Yowza. Is she going to press charges against you? You mentioned the hallway so I'm guessing you live in an apartment building. Did any of the other neighbours hear what was going on? If she does decide to get the police involved, can you get access to any security tapes to prove that she started it and you were merely defending yourself?

As a matter of fact there is a security camera right in that hall way, but it not facing towards us LOL. but She hit me first and I have plenty of witnesses. it was about a week ago, So i think if she was gonna do anything, i would have known by now. although that would be pretty stupid on her part if she did.

I know exactly the type of person you are talking about. I had 2 in my building before they were evicted ... I have to wonder what it is about that type of person that makes them think they command some sort of authority simply Bc they are loud, fat, ignorant and angry at the world....

Probably because they know guys won't lay a hand on them, so they're used to getting away with.

PokerBabe, just because you defended yourself doesn't mean you can't press charges if you have witnesses. Probably not worth it at this point, jus' sayin, but it might make her think twice the next time. Sorry that happened to you.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO .She whoever she is should be locked up in jail.If your kids where annoying her that much with there noise then i asked myself who's the adult here?.Everybody whas a kid once for some us that whas a long time ago but ......

If you have any medical injuries being caused by the fight have your doctor write that down and she can pay the bill for those expensives.
