Okay I have seen the trailer on HBO...I'm kind of interested.

Has anyone read the book?

This a show where suddenly 2% of he population disappear all at once.
Babies, old people, young , all of it, with no explanation something like several million just...BAM gone.
Maybe its based around the rapture (no idea) and what the people left over do with their lives? Maybe its something else...no clue.
(I'm sure I'll cave in and go look at the book on Wikipedia but I'm trying not to...really I'm not)

The E.P. from Lost is running the show so it could be good or crappy depending on whether you were a Lost fan I guess.
I was one of the very few who was very "meh" about Lost I watched it yes.
But I found my interest in it drop away quickly.
I didn't hate it, I didn't love it...but I will say the ending was a wee bit of a disappointment to me.

I watched it last nite and it was pretty good. I have not read the book though. I don't think there really is an explanation on what happened and its centered more around the affect which makes this an interesting watch. The same director also did friday night lights and that's a pretty good show. I have yet to finish that one.

I haven't seen the show, but the concept sounds very similar to the end times movie "A Thief In The Night" from the 70's.
