2013 starting itchy..............hey I am 30+ years and never seen my self with a beard. So well Holidays and being lazy 10 days off work let it grow out. Part being get a better shave when it’s left for a few days so if I have down time let it be. Oh I nearly made a New Years resolution to keep it on the eve, went beyond the stubble stage and did get turned down for a few New years kisses but probably not the whiskers. GF hates it and says oh off before you even think about going down on me. I think I like them and want to see where it goes even if it is itching the hell out of me. Facial hair ladies? Or any bodily hair in general discussion? Hands up I say keep it neat and give it a trim and your my sort of girl.(eh Brace, Brace wait for the wave ok maybe should have been a new thread). Oh I am a cowered new thread then!!! pause, muse it's sort of New Year thing to me could have tacked it on. No this is an issue.

I have a Philips trimmer which i have used for about 3 years now. let if grow out for a few days and then trim it back to 0.5 mm. easiest way to shave know to man.

I have something similar, I keep mine at about 3mm by trimming once a week as well also shave my head to 5mm. Have been doing this for 10 years now, I could not go back to shaving everyday it was such a PITA to do for no good reason.

heres the thing with going bearded... and i have since i was old enough to sprout peach fuzz.... if you keep it too short its prickly and not fun for your partner... a little length on it and as long as you keep it washed and conditioned itll stay soft and sensual... perfect for kissing and rubbing on all sorts of fun body parts.

mind you i took a few courses on facial hair maintenance back in the day, but keeping the van dyke area a bit longer, say half to a 3/4 inch is as short as you want to go, the sideburns and neck can be shorter, i for one shave from chin line down. a good electric trimmer will save you a lot of time and trouble in keeping things in a set style, the guards on them are handy as heck for blending.

once you get the style you want make sure you use good product on it! nothing worse than a scratchy, scraggly beard! you can get by with regular shampoo and conditioner, but there are products made just for beards that are superior since the hair shaft and follicle are slightly different than that on the head.

dont get me started on proper shaving btw, i can post 20 pages on that... its a pet peeve of mine

I like facial hair as long as it's under control.
There's something that turns me on about a guy with a well groomed beard and a toque that looks really hot to me. Must just be because I'm Canadian eh?

Personally, I like some stubble. If I were in your position, I would comply with my GF's request. I'm just greedy for action :sad10:

For me, it really depends on the face. Some faces just look better without. :dontknow:

If the GF hates it you'll get rid of it before long lol...if you're smart.

I have had the stache/goatee (aka prison pussy) since I was 15. I have shaved it off maybe 4x but I have never shaved twice always let it grow back. I felt weird without it. I can tell you from experience, the first 2 days after you shave the hairs are squared off and "scratch" more. You can speed up the rounding off of the hair by rubbing it. The only time my whiskers were a problem with a woman's tender bits was right after I trimmed. The rest of the time, they loved the feel, so your GF might change her mind =)

Buying a good trimmer will make a world of difference.

Oh and Mirra...that's the wrong finger lol

Always go with the whiskers. Always. If your woman hates it, it may be too short and prickly let it grow out more. My woman loves me with the facial hair and it hasn't effected her enjoyment of me going down.

Been full on beard since October. In that time, I've gotten a promotion at work and more women hitting on me. Beards have magic powers.

I tend to enjoy oral more when the guy has a moderate goatee. Just about a week or two after the itchy grow-out period is over, then keep it that length. It feels great on bare skin.

Interesting response I showed GF this thread (yes she knows I am a geek and a perv). I have 6 weeks to decide yes or no and she is making interesting noises on if it stays what other girls think is a good style to wear, sounds good to me considering baseline. Skype with my dad last night he thinks it’s funny, I taught you to shave now you reject me type gags.

Work today was fun lots of you look rough cracks suppose I need to get thru the just looking like I did not bother phase and get a growth I can do some thing with phase. Would appreciate any comments on how you progress. I think I like this

On the Monday and Tuesday that made up days 5 and 6 without shaving for me, a lot of people were asking if I'd had a rough weekend or something. I just kind of shrugged it off and said "Nope... just haven't felt like shaving."

By the end of the 2nd week though, it was enough that people stopped with those comments and were more like "Growing a beard?" to which I responded "Something like that." I did have one guy claim I was starting to look like Kim Dotcom at that point. I wasn't terribly amused at the comparison but the guy happens to be the head of my department at work. >_>
