Hey Everyone,

I"m fairly new at this camming thing (Male) but wanted to try and keep my banking information off of CB. I"ve been tipped and have about 475 tokens, and know you need at least 1000 to cash out anyway, but I wanted to know if anyone has any success in selling the tokens they have and what program you use to transfer funds with whomever wants to buy them. (If so).

Why?

Any tactic you use to "sell tokens" will be much shadier than a reputable cam site.

If you don't want to collect the tokens you've earned, just go spend them on another model you enjoy, and stop trying to earn tokens on CB if you're not going to treat it like an actual job/source of income (i.e. trusting them with your payout information.)

Well I live at home with my mother still and not sure how the W2/1099 information works. I wouldn't want it coming to my house so she wouldn't find out type of thing.

this, because it's taking away from the male cammodels that are actually trying to make a living. they have it hard as it is with all the hobby wankers on CB.

also don't sell tokens OP. that is money laundering. and a huge site violation.

I am putting a good amount of time in on the site, but good to know that they consider it ML. I won't do it then. How do they send the 1099's out? Can it be sent via email only or does it show up saying who it is on the envelope? My mail doesn't get opened but i want to know what to look out for next year. I'm sorry, i'm new and don't know to much about this stuff.

understandable. get a po box. have all camming related mail to be sent there. you can also have your checks to be sent there if you don't want to do direct deposit.

Just to note even if they don't see you receive a 1099 if they are claiming you as a dependent THEY might run into auditing issues if you make too much. Also if you make enough to receive a 1099 you will need to file a tax return of some form yourself if you don't already. Also you WILL OWE money to the IRS with a 1099 so you should be saving 30% of your earnings as a precaution.

Yep this^^.

I might suggest this whole thing is a bad idea for you to try as an actual income source, @my69mustang.

Camming isn't meant for everyone.

(watches as the information goes in one ear and out the other)

Just some Part time work. I have a FT Job, so it's more extra cash to try and get by

If you're already used to receiving a W2 then why are you concerned? It's not the like 1099 says 'chaterbate' on it, it's going to be their holdings company more than likely (I might be wrong on this but would be weird if they did it like that). Does your family usually all group file with an accountant so you're concerned the 1099 would be 'discussed' in the presence of your parents? If you already self file it would just be another tax document like your current W2.

I do my own taxes. I live on my own but my address is there. so more just to curtail any mail that goes there. Glad you answered that it doesn't or appear to say CB on it. That's a big thing

I just don't want friends/family to know I do it is all. I"m a bit insecure with that portion

you know there are bots recording you. every second you are online. your shows will be posted on tube sites like pornhub and xvideos. which could lead to you being spread around to other sites, like reddit, then twitter, then facebook.

im not trying to scare you, im just letting you know a common way how people are outed to their friends and family.

if you are insecure of them finding out, thats fine. but if you are scared that it is going to impact your relationship, is this part time gig worth it?

there are other online gigs you can do pt that isnt sexwork. you can be a cam affiliate or you could look elsewhere that isnt adult related. www.ratracerebellion.com

She means you missed my point... if it's problematic to make money from camming, then don't cam. Especially if you have a full time job already.

its okay you are new. the chances of them finding out is rare now. if you don't want them finding out, just know there will be a footprint of your camming somewhere. more likely if you quit now, the likelihood of your recordings getting out goes from slim to more likely none.

If you dont want to input your banking information you can always set up a bitcoin wallet and get paid in bitcoin, then cash out your bitcoin at a bitcoin atm, get a bitcoin debit card or on an exchange.

I"m a larger guy, and it's really only me anyway, so i'm probably in the clear. It would just be very strange if something happened.

Haha

don't underestimate the power of the internet, sweety.

I don’t think camming is for you if you’re worried about that many things. Not trying to be mean, but this is a tough industry to be in and you have to really want to do it. Digital footprints are everywhere with camming. You are either OK with that (yeah it sucks) or you aren’t. This shouldn’t be a side job you dabble in for giggles if you’re worried about something as little as your bank info given to a reputable site.
