It has spread rapidly from its Chicago roots (sadly I missed the Honolulu event). Sometime the literature is high brow stuff and other times it is 50 shades of Gray and romance novels. My guess from the stage this was just the warm up act to main event, the reading performance. Tickets are typically $25 and the girls make a decent amount if anybody is interested. So bottom line (groan) twerking to the 5th fits the theme.
