Hello,

Our Chaturbate account was automatically locked after a suspicious login attempt from a Thai IP address. We confirmed that it was not us, and the account locked itself for security reasons.

We’ve been unable to go online for 3 days and haven’t received a response yet. We understand the holiday period may cause delays, but this is our main source of income..

Our viewers are waiting for us, and it’s very important for us to be back online as soon as possible — ideally by today or tomorrow, on New Year’s Eve we would like to go online again for sure.

We already sent an email and didn’t want to send multiple messages to avoid slowing things down. We would really appreciate your help in unlocking our account as soon as possible.

Account: loveboost_r

Thank you very much for your help!

That's crazy... You can get locked out for days because someone "attempted" to log in? It wasn't even a successful login? Literally anyone can attempt to log into your account on CB at any time. Everyone knows our login username because it is our screen name. That could easily be abused to prevent people from being able to work.

"We confirmed that it was not us" meaning you hit the orange "this was not me" button in the email which locked the account.

Yes, unfortunately we didn’t know that pressing that button would lock the account.

We’d really like this to be resolved as soon as possible, because we definitely want to go online during these last two days.

I hope the account can be unlocked again so we can use it normally.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t just a simple login attempt — the person who tried to log in actually knew the password as well, I cannot imagine, how.

Luckily, they couldn’t get any further, and that’s when we received the notification that someone was trying to log in from a Thai IP address.

So of course we automatically selected that it wasn’t us.
We didn’t know that doing this would cause the account to be completely locked.
This is both a good and a bad situation — good from a security point of view, but bad because we’re now unable to go online or log into our account.

We would have tried to change the password at the time, but afterward we didn’t receive any email for that either, and it didn’t allow us to do so.

So, we’re forced to wait now.
