Chaturbate told me my issue was resolved in 2024, then permanently banned me — and the reason shown on my account has now changed
I’m looking for advice from anyone who has experienced something similar with Chaturbate.
My username is Crazyn_, and I have been a Chaturbate model for more than 10 years.
My situation is confusing because of the way the ban happened and because the message displayed on my account has now changed.
In 2024, I first received an email from Chaturbate saying:
“Good news - we’ve sorted out your issue with the help of one of our articles! If everything’s good now, you can ignore this email. But if you’re still facing any problems, just hit reply and we’ll get right back to it.”
I understood from this that the issue had been resolved.
After that, however, I received another email stating that Chaturbate believed I had provided “altered or otherwise falsified identification” for age verification and that my accounts were being permanently terminated.
I have always maintained that I did not knowingly submit altered or falsified identification.
There were serious personal circumstances around the time of the disputed verification. I am divorced from my former partner and have official documentation relating to protection/restraining measures issued by the authorities and the court. Because of this history, I have reason to believe that my former partner may have interfered with my online accounts or information, or possibly submitted information in my name without my authorization.
I cannot personally establish exactly what happened during the 2024 verification, which is why I am asking Chaturbate to investigate the available account and security records.
What I find particularly confusing is that the message displayed on my account has now changed.
Previously, when I accessed my banned account, it said:
“Account Banned
We have reason to believe that you may have violated our terms of service.”
Now it says:
“Activity on your account has been flagged as violating Chaturbate’s Terms and Conditions. As a result, your account has been banned.”
The current message does not say that Chaturbate believes I falsified or altered identification. It only says that activity on my account was flagged as violating the Terms and Conditions.
So I don’t know whether the original 2024 allegation regarding my identification is still the reason for my permanent ban, or whether the reason has been changed or reclassified.
I recently submitted a formal appeal asking for a manual review. Chaturbate initially sent me an automated response saying they had received my message but could not automatically detect my username and asked me to reply with it.
I replied with my username Crazyn_ and provided a detailed explanation, including the circumstances surrounding the disputed verification, my willingness to complete a new identity verification, and my request for a manual review.
My ticket/reference number is 62R7VN-24J52.
I have not received any response from a customer service specialist since my reply.
I am not trying to bypass the ban or create another account. I am simply asking for the original decision to be properly reviewed and for Chaturbate to clarify what specific activity is currently considered to have violated the Terms and Conditions.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Especially a situation where the original ban was based on a specific allegation, but the message displayed on the account later changed to a general Terms and Conditions violation?
