What is your favorite alcoholic drink?

From beer to bourbon, from margherita to martini, name your favorite drink. Please be specific, not just beer, but Budweiser or Michelob Ultra. If you like margheritas, do you like them frozen or on the rocks, with salt or without. I think you get the idea. Include a reason that the drink is your favorite if you want to.

My favorite is a 7 & 7. What is a 7 & 7, some of you may ask? It's Seagram's 7 Crown Blended Whiskey mixed with 7 Up. I like because it has a little bit of sweetness and then a strong bite. Wikipedia says it's similar to a Whiskey Sour. I didn't know that. Where I live now, I have to order a Seagram's and Sprite because I haven't found a bar with 7 Up on tap.

Crown and Coke always works. If I can find a bartender that makes it right, a Red Death. It should taste like fruit punch

Haha me too! Pink wine for the winter and Cider (and black if it's the cheap stuff) in the summer.

I do like a warming shot of Jaeger if I'm out binge drinking

All depends on the day, usually Captain Morgan's spiced rum and coke, or on a good night Crown Royal on the rocks, to get on the to the off chance I will work on a .750 of Jaeger ( I keep a bottle in the freezer )

But, it'll ALWAYS be top-shelf. I don't drink a lot, but when I do it'd better be good.

Straight: Jim Beam (black label) bourbon
Mixed: Boodles gin and Tonic w/lime
Beer: Guiness Extra Stout
Wine: Merlot (vineyard and year vary)

Wine: Never, I've tried dry, wet, cheap, sweet, and expensive; they all taste ew to me

Like what's been said....depends on the day.

Mostly, I drink beer. Cold. Doesn't really matter that much. I brew my own on occasion and when I do, it is usually a scotch ale. When I'm buying, usually something new. I like to try different brews from different areas. And when I'm not in the mood for new, good old Budweiser Select.

Now there are days when a beer won't cut it. And those days are made for Jack Daniels. Sometimes straight, sometimes with coke. I been known to bring home a fifth of Southern Comfort or Captain Morgens spiced rum and mix with different kinds of juices I have in the fridge.

OK, I have just convinced myself that I'm an alcoholic. Thanks!! :lol:

I can't drink liquor unless it's vodka. I can take quick shots or have a mixed drink. But I got sick as a fucking dog once from dragonberry rum and four lokos and I never want to drink liquor again

But I love beer - Bud Light, specifically.

Oh definitely! Just as people eat more vegetables as they grow older. I can't imagine actually liking sprouts or spinach though. Ew.

Being from an alcoholic family, I don't drink often but when I do, I am serious about it LOL!

I severely dislike beer, on that note:
Straight: Jeagermeister, Skyy Vodka, Jim Beam, Disarrono, Irish Creme (Bailey's is good)
Mixed: Jack and Coke, Rum and Coke, Skyy and cranberry juice, Jim and root beer, Jeager and coke, moonshine and fruit punch, Jeager and Mt Dew

When I went thru a bout of serious depression 2 years ago, I would mix a shot of everything I had access to into a sports bottle with 2 shots of fruit punch. Gross but got the job done. There was even some Tarantula in there...ewww LOL

In general I will drink a little of anything if in a safe environment with friends. I don't drink beer and usually won't drink wine either, unless I am eating shark fillets. Nom Nom Nom

Wine: Only drink it while eating so depends on the meal
Beer: Guinness or Fat tire depending on my mood.

I'll clearly sound like an alcoholic here, but oh well!

Beer: Blue Moon and Corona are my favorites. Sometimes with an orange or lime wedge, but most times without.

Wine: Red - Sebastiani Pinot Noir, or Cline Syrah. White - Mirrasou Pinot Grigio or some cold Muscat if I'm int he mood for something sweeter. Ruby Port and Concord Grape wine are yummy too but are sweet and heavy. And I've been known to chug cheap pink boxed wine on occasion. I dig champagne too.

Straight: Disaronno, SoCo, Malibu Rum. I can't drink liquor straight up unless it's something with flavor like these. I can't really handle shots well at all, but if I try it is usually vodka or tequila.

Mixed drinks.
Gin (Bombay Sapphire) & tonic. With a little "bloop" of Rose's sweetened lime juice.
Malibu and Pine-Orange-Banana juice.
Martini - dirty with extra olives (I only order these out because I can't mix one correctly to save my life. I'll leave it to the professionals.)
Vodka (Ketel One) and tonic with a splash of grenadine. I call it my grown up shirley temple.
White Russian with slightly more Kahlua than vodka.
Rum (Myers Dark) and coke.
Margaritas (I think margherita spelling is for pizza? I dunno), on the rocks or blended, with 1800 Reposado and Grand Marnier.

Now it's obvious that I like alcohol way too much. When I get back to full health, I am going to make a conscious effort to not drink as often as I once did. Not only is it bad for me, but I'd like to not gain back the 10 lbs I've lost in the past few months solely by drinking and snacking while tipsy.

Blue Moon is produced by the Coors company, therefore it is horrible. I can't stand Budweiser, Coors, Busch, Miller, et al.

Really the only beer I actually enjoy the taste of any more is Yeungling traditional. I don't drink often. The past couple of times I've had alcohol, it was Yeungling.
