What the heck am I doing wrong on Amazon wish list?

I am sure this is an easy question, but I can't figure it out. I want to buy a model something off her wishlist. I clicked on it, added to my cart, went through almost all the steps, but on the second-to-last screen, it shows my own address as the shipping address. Huh? I thought it would automatically ship to the person who created the list.

What am I doing wrong or not understanding?

It shouldn't show either address, although I've noticed that it will put her real name in lieu of the shipping address: "Deliver to Jane Doe" e.g.

All I can suggest is you cancel the order and start all over, making sure every i is dotted, so to speak. I isn't exactly the simplest interface.

Ugh! Figured it out, but I feel dumb. I clicked on the item to check it out and then added it to my cart from the full description page. Doing that gave me my own address.

Adding it from the list page directly gave both mine and hers. Problem solved :lol:

Oh, no need to feel dumb, you could do that if you'd just gone ahead and let the order go through. Catching your mistake makes you smart!
