Since one's average cam score is based on a 60 day average, having it update more often would simply show that "sub-swing" in score that happens within that average. In other words, there's a limit to how much a score can be affected by immediate activities.

Similar to March Madness and Fantasy Football: Work production goes down because people are focusing on the games all day or how their respective players are doing. Also..people seem to break from their everyday life during this time as well. Case in point myself: I tend to sit at my phone or laptop all day during those times. I am guilty too.

Well models production would go down as well. They would spend so much time looking at their updates that they would stop paying attention to their rooms..in public or pvt. They would get the tips..then immediately go to their score instead of honoring the request or the topic goal. Thus..by the end of the day, members would get so annoyed they would stop tipping or leave the room all together. Scores would go down.

Unless I am mistaken, the top 100 list gets updated very frequently in comparison to the camscore updates. I would assume even if you weren't in the top 100 your position would update the same as the top 100. That doesn't seem to cause server slowdowns or an increase in model OCD levels.

1. About the models being distracted... I never really looked at my camscore, even after I found out about it. I found it took too much effort to find something that I didn't really care about. Then again, I found out about it maybe a month after joining this forum, so when I found out I already knew we didn't know much about what went into it (this was back in spring of 2010).

2. The top 100 is 100 models. Camscore updating all the time for 1000's of models is a whole nother ball game. PLUS all those models who do obsess over it would be loading the servers with their profile refreshes.

3. It would really make my words from last year true: "Camscore, the more you worry about it, the further down it goes. The less you worry about it, the more it rises!"
