What's it like first time getting nude for a viewer or viewers? I've heard it can be traumatic. Did you have positive or negative feelings afterwards?

I've always had really great feedback, even when I don't feel my sexiest or I've gained some weight. I was really nervous when I first started but I'm also a bit of a fear junkie and an exhibitionist so that sort of pushed me to make the leap.

Starting up again this year I'm finding it a bit difficult again, getting comfortable with the idea of me and all my bumps and lumps and squishy bits out there for everyone to see especially with so many absolutely stunning and fit girls doing this...but then again...take a gander through the front page and you're sure to find someone who is radically older, or larger, or weirder, or less sociable, or with a messier lower budget room or cam or whatever...all kinds of people are successful and there will always be someone "better" than you and someone "worse" than you.

At the end of the day, just get on there and after a few tries you get used to it and realize the trolls are just trolls so screw 'em! Overall...I feel nervous to start and great when I'm done a show.

I'm an exhibitionist, and I'd be naked all the time if I could. That part was honestly possibly the easiest part for me. Things like insanely silent rooms though you can see viewers, trying to figure out what I should do to promote myself in the beginning, being unsure with how to do one on one sessions where I didn't know the other person well enough to know what they liked, nor could I see them to determine if they were enjoying or if their silence was a tech issue...that part was hard to get used to.

Same as @SaffronBurke I have never heard anyone either on the forum or out of all the hundreds of models I follow on social media say that getting naked for the first time was traumatic. I'm sure there are models who feel that way, but it's just not a common occurance from my experience.

Prior to camming, my main method of getting undressed was to scramble out of my clothes (usually jeans and a tshirt) as fast as possible after getting in the house and shutting the front door. So getting naked on cam the first time was probably a little awkward and graceless, but being naked on cam felt pretty much like being in my house clothes.

I've never heard anyone say that it was traumatic. Maybe if you hated the idea of camming, but did it because you really needed the money. And you were in public on a token site, so hundreds of people were watching. And it was a particularly bad day for harassing new models. And you didn't know what you were doing and thought you were supposed to get naked before getting tipped, so the whole thing resulted in a handful of nickels. Yeah, I could see that being a pretty fucking bad day, if not traumatic. But I think the models that have that experience don't usually stay models very long and probably aren't on this site.

I don't actually clearly remember the first time I appeared nude on cam. I think it was with my fiance for a sex show--our first one obviously, on chaturbate. We did pretty damn good for not knowing how to take advantange of bots and apps. Got 7,000+ viewers and a decent amount of money. Probably could've made a lot more with an app or bot in place though.

Anyway, it felt... fun? I didn't feel nervous at all because my fiance was sharing this new experience with me, so I didn't feel alone and exposed wondering what I should do or say. My first time getting naked solo on cam was a little stranger because I had to think of things to do and say. I liked to just use a tip menu in the beginning, so I wouldn't get naked unless people tipped a certain amount for a certain act or whatever. I don't remember how well I was paid my first time getting naked solo on cam, though. It wasn't anything spectacular, but I also was new at pricing things so my tip menu was pretty cheap to start off.
