I agree that she is incredibly cute.

Gee, anyone noticing a trend on here this past week or so? Do these guys all belong to some club or something?

I have to admit that I once joined PETA in college. That was my only decision to join a group/club with my own mind. I was a part of the boy scouts because that was a thing to do and a bunch of soccer teams when I was a kid. I don't think this is the answer you were looking for about clubs.

None of the topics in the meetings had anything to do with internet stuff (because the internet hadn't been invented yet).

You must be kind of new here. This has been going on for years.
I used to make fun and tease them but it became battles of wits with unarmed opponents. :haha:

No, dear. I've been on this forum for years as well (had a different account before). And you totally misunderstood my post. What I was saying is that we seem to be getting more of these threads just in this past week or so, and I joked that they must be all coming from some club or something.

Yeah, it seems to go in cycles. Cycles? Maybe a bicycle club! :) (really bad joke...I'm tired)

Now I'm gonna go listen to "Bicycle Race" by Queen. Great song. We should change the topic of this creepy thread, and just start talking about Queen songs that we love. I used to sing "Radio Gaga" at karaoke.

What is wrong with the guy asking about that cam model? Isn't that what this section is for? If that isn't what it is for, then why does this section exist? Sure the stalker stuff is bad but this guy made a fairly innocuous inquiry-- I saw cute cam model on porn site, has anyone seen her cam anywhere else?

Like ppl facepalmed his post....

So maybe my comment about this being a "creepy thread" was a little overboard (the stalker ones are creepy). :) And if you must know, I facepalmed his post because he posted a link of a pirated video. We don't like that here, so let's not start condoning it, okay?

Reeeally getting tired of having to explain to people my reasons for facepalming/liking/agreeing on a post. Lol.

I (and many of my friends) usually refer to them as "lounge lizards".

Queen was the first band I ever liked when I was like 5 years old. I had their greatest hits cassette tape and made my mum play it every time we went anywhere in the car until it broke to the point where I still know every word to every song on it even now.

Anyways my favourite was always don't stop me know

The selection of my high school graduation theme song was a contest between "We Are the Champions" (the student favorite) and Seals & Crofts' "We May Never Pass This Way Again" (the favorite of the administration, parents, and the "good" students). Guess which one "won"? As if these ceremonies weren't already overloaded with cheap sentimentality... :(

Too bad Pink Floyd's "The Wall" was still a year or so away from release..

This thread has taken an incredibly sad turn.

It's a containment board.

This section of the forum is not specifically for this, no. Not sure why you'd think that. This section exists to discuss anything about the cam site world.

People don't like answering these sorts of threads because the paranoid nature of most cam models leads us to believe that anyone asking has bad intentions. Some of them may. Some might just wanna google their free capped shows. Some might actually want to join the girl's cam chat and tip her (it happens!).

I imagine majority of people at this forum would love if I'd ban threads like this. I haven't yet and don't plan to. While this is a hub of common ground and great advice and camaraderie for cam girls and members, it is not existing to be a literal "safe space" where I protect everyone from anything possibly negative. So I made this post which lets people know they may get trollish answers or a negative attitude from the members if they decide to inquire. That's the only recourse I have right now.

I think these threads are getting more abundant because ACF is really high on many searches about many subjects pertaining to cam models. One of the subjects is "who is this cam girl?". As ACF grows, the search results become more and more heavy with ACF links. So here we are.

Edit to add: I'd like to suggest, again, that if you don't like these sort of posts or don't want to help, simply move on. Refrain from marking them as bad troll attempt or facepalm or whatnot. Please and thank you.

What I never got is that there's actually a section dedicated to 'who is this model' yet when a guy asks in the most innocuous way ever some here get the bum-ache. It is like some posters totally forget that is what that section is for and get angry when it is used the way it was designed to be used... Yes, some dudes are crazy weirdo stalker types but not all.

It makes total sense that this site would dominate search results for these types of questions and has to be a good source of traffic.

I probably need a chill pill or a facepalm or a bad troll attempt for not agreeing with the masses! :) :) :)

There is no section like that though? There's a thread (the one Amber linked), if that's what you're thinking of, but even that isn't specifically to ask for certain girls.

This thread is in "general cam chat" so it isnt specifically a section for Guess Who type posts.

To the two posters^^
There is a pinned post with the title ""Who is this camgirl? Can you identify this girl? Threads?"

When people Google search they are going to find that post and ask "who is this girl." They are not going to read the first page warning.

By having that post tons of search engine searchers are going to find that thread and think this is where you ask that question. Go read the last few posts and that is exactly how many of those posts goes.

I think the butthurt around this topic needs to end. It probably isn't the pornhub one hand typer who is gonna stalk you just for wanting live content, it is the dudes who are already obsessed with you on cam sites. Most of those pornhub cam pirate vids tell you who the girl is or the comments will tell you.

This is not going to end. Welcome to the inter-webbles...

That's not a section, it's a single thread.

Just a quick question on this. "IF" you're allowing these posts, but would rather the forum not be known for this in search results. Would it be possible to edit your robots.txt file to tell google and Bing to not search certain threads? Then in the main 'who is this camgirl' thread have it turned off so the search spider skips that one? If anyone does create a new thread in another area, combine it with the main one. Or you could have the noindex setting for those pages I guess.

If search results didn't show those posts it might lower the visibility for people googling that sort of thing.

I feel like there has been great consistency in the threads people tend to get annoyed by, so it confuses me when people can't figure it out or think people are being unreasonable. The one thing ALL these threads have in common are the abundance of them. There are lots of times when this section looks like this:

Newbie camgirl here! Help!
Get 60% on new camsite!
Who is she?
Best webcam?
Banned from CB
Help identifying camgirl

Over and over and over. So yeah, it can get old, and personally I think Amber is a saint for putting up with this as patiently as she does. It adds insult to injury when there are a million of these threads right there and it's as if the poster didn't spend even five minutes looking through the forum before posting.

So, what are we to do about this? How do we keep this section from being an endless list of the above types of threads and keep it an interesting place for discussion? Maybe those who complain about it should use their efforts to start new discussions that they think are constructive, because it almost isn't fair to complain every time a thread you don't like is posted but never taking time to post one yourself.
