I'm going to guess MFC. Their traffic is the highest and the top girls there make more than SM top girls. I land on the first page of SM and in recent times have only made on average what a 1500 camscore girl makes on MFC. Still, SM takes a higher percentage from incoming monies. They give more to affiliates. Yeah. I'm going with MFC.

Which is surprising, because their website looks like it's from the 90s. Looks like a virus trap.

My guess would be Streamate. They have been around a year longer than MFC and take 65% of the models earnings. And from what I understand, paying members on Streamate spend far more money on camgirls than paying members on MFC.

I considered the high percentage that SM takes from models, but their affiliate program gives a high percentage to folks who get others to sign up. I think they just give less money directly to models without necessarily keeping more. If you check out SM's traffic via Alexa, they're substantially lower than MFC. The affiliate program doesn't necessarily seem to be paying off. According to Alexa, Clips4Sale has traffic more comparable to that of MFC. I wonder how the income of those 2 sites compare.

This is incredibly hard to quantify since many people don't actually access SM directly from their site. Hell some people don't even know they're using SM at all. You might think you're using pornhublive, brazzerslive, pornproslive, etc. and never see the word Streamate anywhere on the screen. I'm pretty sure if you added up all the affiliate and white labels SM's volume would be more considerable than if you just take the numbers from going to the main site itself. My original SM account was through an affiliate it wasn't until a model said something that I knew I was using SM.

Maybe. But the actual traffic would need to be 10x what Alexa suggests it is to get close to MFC. Do you think white labels are doing that much?

Take pornhubs traffic cut that number in half or a 3rd and add that to the SM number and I'm pretty sure you get an example of the snowball effect.

I really don’t know. I’ve seen some pretty crazy single tips on MFC in models’ rooms. Don’t “tipping wars” happen more on MFC than on SM? I know that we don’t know how much a SM model is making in her premium/exclusive sessions, since those are behind closed doors. But whenever I hear about (or see screenshots of) these mega tips models get, it’s almost always on MFC. Like when everyone was talking about that mega tip MilaMilaan (however it’s spelled) got years ago.

I wouldn’t have been able to touch Justin Timberlake’s foot back in 2013, if it wasn’t for MFC regs. Lol.

On the other hand, I feel like quite a few MFC models (when they’re sick of the declining cam score...not reaching goals...their regs leave...etc.) make their way over to Streamate when they feel like they’re DONE with MFC. So who knows?

Regardless, I think we can all agree that there’s huge money-making happening at both of these sites. KA-CHING!

I don't think we can compare Pornhub and any camsite. Free porn vs public shows via MFC isn't going to be at all comparable. There's no way SM with it's pay by the minute business model is grabbing that many of Pornhub's visitors.

Your argument was about traffic. All traffic to MFC isn't bring models paying members either. 10% of pornhub daily traffic is still larger than MFC's total daily traffic and pornhub is just one of many large SM affiliates. If we were talking about paying traffic then you could consider SM affiliates like brazzers which not only also give you SM access but also a member with a CC on file at the payment processor even 10% of their traffic is a decent amount of 'prepared' to pay members.

I was just using this to point out how SM traffic can't be quantified by only tracking the main SM website.

Pretty sure defining "assets" would be the first step to this debate going anywhere. Is assets traffic? Money spent? Or even just software assets a website has created and owns (just as an example)? I personally have no idea what site makes more money or has more traffic. Yeah, SM has a lot of whitelabels but MFC is so well known and has such a reputation for bigger tippers than other similar sites (namely, CB). Honestly though, I have no clue and don't feel like researching it right now.

I get it. I just think you're overestimating what the real number would be. I'm skeptical. I also think the quality of spender has declined on SM. Tons of dudes are there without credit cards, and many who have a card on file just do GOLD shows or try to be a free peeper. I'm purely anecdotal here, but I only pull in half of what I did 2 years ago and my placement stays the same. Totally guessing, but I feel that means most girls are making less as well. It's possible though that the money is becoming more skewed toward the top girls than it used to be. I would love to see the real numbers on this. This thread has me nosey as heck.

I can agree that gold shows lowering the barrier of entry probably did adjust show value for the consumer. If you're only interested in a vanilla show experience gold shows are a more cost effective route. That said, I always felt SM's selling point was indulging fetish audiences privately. I think that's still there. I think who's hurt by gold shows are models that only perform a vanilla 'routine' in their privates. I think any model that is offering a 'unique' custom experience will always make money so long as they are good at sell that idea to the members in their chat. I spend a lot for my fetish and I pay exclusive rate to keep my fetish to myself. I don't think I would spend the same amount if I was only interested in a vanilla 'strip and touch' sort of show.

Dudes without credit cards? SM forces you to add a credit or debit card when you sign up for a membership. You can't complete your member account until you add the info from your card. At least that's what im seeing right now from my end.

I'm not sure what members see, but on my end there's a second chat area that can be left closed. It's full of non-spenders talking to themselves. I don't know if they have to fill out a CC# to be there. I don't cam that often anymore. Maybe someone else knows about that group.

Pornhub has a lot of traffic, but it is about the lowest quality traffic out there. You are talking about conversion rates in the orders of single digits per million and that is from the visitors who actually click on an ad or link.

When I cammed on SM, I saw that too. It's called Guest Chat, right? I remember once, out of curiosity, clicking on it to see what was going on, and it was a bunch of non-spenders...probably barking orders at me. Lol.

That section has been empty for me for months now. On the main SM site you couldn't chat without adding a card, but there apparently were a couple of white labels that didn't require it and that's where those guys came from. It's a shock to see even a single person in there anymore, so it seems as though the loophole is mostly closed.

According to wikipedia, (updated Oct. 2017), the largest site is Chaturbate, followed by LiveJasmin and then BongaCams.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaturbate

That's using alexa rank again.

This is Streamate embedded in pornhub when you on pornhubs pages you are eccentrically on SM at the same time.
https://www.pornhub.com/live

pornhub is the 21 ranks site on the internet above CB at 114. pornhub is just one of many SM affiliates so many more sites add to that number. Does that make SM the largest? We can't really say but these are things mean something.

Sometimes I think you wait till you can only post with a link on purpose.

NONE of these sites are publicly traded so we have no idea which has the most assets. Because they are websites they all probably have NO assets at all except for the physical servers that host the site and all monetary gains are pushed to umbrella companies (hence why models that get paper checks don't get them with the sites name written on them). Your question over simplifies multinational corporations.

You should expand your question to something like, 'Which site you think has the most potiential investment capital?'
Like I need no balance in my paypal account so if you asked me my assets in paypal it would be zero because it wouldn't take into account my bank or card accounts associated with it.

Sorry. My mistake. I assumed that everyone on here would know what I meant by assets. TBH, this question and my other question that was related to clipsites came to my mind when I was reading this list: http://www.usbanklocations.com/bank-rank/total-assets.html

I will eat my hat if Bongacams is making more money than MFC or SM. :wasntme: Doubtful that LJ or Chaturbate are contenders either. I guess LJ could be except that they pretty much force girls to stick with 1.99/minute.

Let's make the wild assumption that the number of performers (female only) roughly follows traffic. I've compared the main sites and the rank would be this then:
1. Chaturbate
2. Myfreecams
3. Streamate
4. Livejasmin (harder to guess, because girls can appear with more than one user name)
5. Bongacams

Concerning overall traffic to the "rooms" via the main site and white labels and affiliates, hard to tell. Streamate has tons of white labels and affiliates, Chaturbate some white labels and tons of affiliates, same for jasmin and bongacams. Myfreecams has no white labels and only a few affiliates (but reopened an affiliate program lately, so let's see how this develops). I've asked some of my users how they signed up, zero said they signed up at any white label, some said they "found" the site through an affiliate ad though. Would be very interesting to see any kind of statistics from the sites where traffic comes from and how the conversion rate is.

Not with this white label: http://girlsgonewildlive.com/signup/?

IMO... as none of the big cam sites make their growth, profits and earnings figures readily available for public scrutiny in any independently verified way, I don't think it's ever gonna be possible to determine who is the biggest. No one knows.

MFC's wiki lists its own claims on account numbers and traffic data (Last updated Feb 6th 2017) but as expected, nothing more... https://wiki.myfreecams.com/wiki/Becoming_a_Webcam_Model_at_MyFreeCams#How_big_is_MyFreeCams.3F

Some quick stats:
  • MyFreeCams.com receives over 30 million unique visitors per month.
  • MyFreeCams.com has over 20 million registered members.
  • MyFreeCams.com has over 200,000 registered models.
  • MyFreeCams.com is one of top 1000 websites on the Internet by traffic.
  • More money is spent on MyFreeCams.com than on any other webcam site in the world! (By far)

My guess would be Streamate. They have been around a year longer than MFC and take 65% of the models earnings. And from what I understand, paying members on Streamate spend far more money on camgirls than paying members on MFC.

Far more? Okay, I'll bite. How do you know this Guy? Got any data we can analyse?

P.S. The Camgirl wiki states that there are accounts without cc's allowed on Streamate...

https://www.camgirlwiki.com/wiki/Streamate#Types_of_Member_Accounts

There are two types of member accounts on Streamate:
  • Credit Card Accounts Members with credit cards are those who can pay for shows immediately. They are listed in the guest chat logs.
  • Non-Credit Card Accounts

:)

I'd look at the site with the most active models.... if the models are there then the income most likely follows. A site always makes its income off models in the end after all.
