I have signed up to both Internetmodeling.com and
screamate.com I know for a fact that IM is a studio for Sm.
What i want too know does Sm provides me with the same amount
of traffic as Interntmodeling does? My concern is the traffic
which i want the most. I hear with screamate you can get a higher percentage
but i do not really care about that i really concern about how much traffic
i can get.Is Sm the way to go for lots of traffic or is it IM? Honest answers please.
Please do not direct me too mfc or Lj. On mfc i suck badly after my 2wks and Lj cam
quailty is bad and takes a month for us too receive a dam check. All responses are
appreciated.

Thanks!

Unless they are giving you a laptop, a webcam, and a space to work in, there is no reason to give a studio part of your income. They can't give you anything you can't learn to do yourself. Any advertising they could offer you isn't enough to be worth the paycut.

Hi. :hello2: I've seen a lot of people incorrectly call it 'Streamates', but I've never seen it called 'Screamate'...lol. The name of the cam site is Streamate, and they pay models 35%. Internet Modeling is a Streamate studio, and they pay 20%.

If you cam on Internet Modeling and one day decide to leave for Streamate, they will tell you that you have to wait one year from your last performance date on Internet Modeling before you can start on Streamate.

Go with camming on Streamate instead of Internet Modeling.

Am I wrong in thinking that a 35% payout is a shitty deal?

I mean, it seems kind of low, but with the amount of traffic, I personally think it's worth it. On MFC, I had a camscore of about 3,500~ regularly, and I make double, even triple, per hour what I made on MFC even with the smaller percentage on Streamate.

I may only have 25 - 30~ people in my GOLD shows, but I make a lot more than when I had 2,000+ viewers on MFC during some shows. They definitely spend a lot on advertising in the right places, although I do think they could afford a better model support and trying to fix encoder to site issues that cause the random disconnects with the amount they take from us.

The only thing that really deters me from Streamate is the way they advertise. I wouldn't want to come up on a pop up on someone I know's computer as they're browsing the internet for non porn stuff. The payout being low does deter me a tiny bit, but from what girls say it's worth it. I think one day I probably will make the change over to camming on both sites as Streamate seems a lot more reliable. I guess I'm also just comfy on MFC.

Nope, 35% is shitty, in my opinion. A lot of SM models feel that it's low, but they don't seem to mind it due to the traffic they get.

Wanna hear something weird though? ImLive pays 30%, doesn't have great traffic, has chargebacks, and instead of giving models a higher percentage they use their money to give away expensive prizes (like Prada bags, expensive jewelry, etc.) to the top models each pay period. Models

Sorry, just pretend the word 'Models' isn't at the end of my post...lol. Too late to edit. :)

I have to agree with what the girls are saying. Streamate will give you enough traffic. Once youre on for a while you'll get more and more. IM is not worth the big pay cut they will take forever as long as you are under them. And once you're on and established you WILL start thinking about how much more you could be making if they weren't taking their cut.

I signed up for an account on Internet Modeling, and they don't have Streamate listed as a site they use. They call it something different, but obviously it ended up being the same site... and I didn't know and signed up. Does the one year still apply to me if I never earned anything on Streamate through them? I only logged in, saw what it was, and logged back out to open my own account with Streamate. >_<
