I am absolutely furious with how Chaturbate has handled my account.
My account, viviandela97, was suddenly banned. The only notice I received says that unspecified “activity” violated their Terms and Conditions. That is it.
No explanation.
No specific rule.
No date or timestamp.
No description of what I supposedly did.
No indication of whether anyone manually reviewed the broadcast.
I now have over $1,000 worth of broadcaster tokens sitting in that account that I cannot access or cash out.
I worked for those tokens. I spent hours broadcasting, talking to viewers, building a community, entertaining people, and generating revenue on their platform. Chaturbate already received its share of the money viewers spent, but I am now completely locked out of the portion I earned.
My last stream consisted of me sitting down, talking about my life, chatting normally with viewers, and casually sipping wine. I was not intoxicated, incoherent, impaired, reckless, or engaging in any unsafe behavior.
Chaturbate’s published rules prohibit performing while intoxicated. Drinking a glass of wine does not automatically mean someone is intoxicated. More importantly, Chaturbate has not even confirmed that the wine was the reason for the ban. I am being forced to guess because their notice provides absolutely no useful information.
I previously received a temporary suspension for streaming while driving. I accepted responsibility for that, understood the safety concern, and did not repeat it. This is a separate incident, and a permanent ban without any explanation is wildly disproportionate.
I have contacted support demanding:
• The exact reason for the ban
• The specific rule they claim I violated
• A manual review of the full broadcast
• A complete accounting of my tokens and pending earnings
• Restoration of my account or immediate payment of the full balance owed to me
It is outrageous that a platform can profit from a broadcaster’s labor, suddenly terminate the account with a generic message, and then make more than $1,000 in earnings inaccessible without providing any explanation.
Has anyone else experienced this? Were you able to recover your account or get your remaining token balance paid out? I would especially appreciate advice from anyone who successfully escalated past the first-line support responses.
I have screenshots of the ban notice, my token history, and prior earnings records.
