Hello there, I am Usefultitle but I sonetime go by "Mike". And I honestly don't like talking about myself...so I will keep this short.

I have been on various sites over the past two years, mostly MGF and MFC now. And was convinced to join the forums by Amber herself. What can I say I am a sucker for redheads. ;)

Other quick notes about me...my current hobby that is taking most of my attention is home brewing, specifically hard cider. I am on my second batch ever, and like everything in life I think I am getting better with expirence.

@Colette Savoir Yeah, I don't go that far back, but the cam world has definitely changed a ton, since I started in 2012. Hopefully once you get verified that will help a bit. *hugs*

Hah yeah, I started in 2009 when these things were *just* on the brink of starting. I think when camming became more well known to the predominantly English speaking countries, the newcomers "changed the game" in a sense. When I began, the industry was dominated by Eastern Europeans and it was as you said: privates, oily shows, naked dancing. It's a whole different ball game now! You have to have content to sell, games to play in order to get more people to actually participate in your show/topics, white boards/walls with names, spin wheels for prizes, artistic shows to create a variety of entertainment.

Simply diddling your fiddle doesn't cut it anymore.

Hey I'm Pip!

Pretty new to all this but I've had a lot of health issues and I wanted a way to get my confidence back to how it used to be, and I used to go to BDSM clubs and walk around in my undies and I always felt so empowered. My friend suggested stripping and whilst one or two nights I may be at the club, I needed more flexibility to earn money.

Granted no-one asked for the life story, but wasn't really sure what info to throw at you all!

I'm Samantha, I'm fairly new to camming, just joined MFC a little under 2 weeks ago and it's been going good so far. I started out with InternetModeling on their amateur site webcammodels.com I used that site for around a month or so until I moved out of my grandparents place. I didn't want to waste my new model status in the morning time when now I can and do cam a night. MFC is everything I've hoped it would be so far. I'm hoping to figure a few things out like selling videos, maximizing my profile, some nifty games to play, meeting fellow models, etc from this site.

My twitter is @SamanthaGrant54 and my MFC username is the same as here just SamanthaGrant. I do have a few states blocked on MFC though including Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. I'm completely aware of the fact that people are eventually going to find out about camming if I stick to it but I'd like to minimize that risk as much as possible haha. At least for future employers, current employers, college professors, peers, family, etc. XD. Anyways super glad I found this and can get started on here!

Hello! I am Alexis. I am on webcammodels.com and I have been for a bit. I am considering trying livecam or myfreecams to make more money. It seems on those sites its more blatant that you need to spend cash in order to get what you want instead of demanding and being cheap like people are on webcammodels. I have been doing an awesome job with making fans and being versitile, having awesome lighting.

I really came here because I want to find a fellow cam model who would want to do videos or cam with me. I am very interested in girls but I want a girl who is already in the cam business to work / have fun with. I know this might not be the best place to ask or give out info on where I live but I wanted to know if any fellow models might know where I can find such a site / resource? Please and thank you!

Hey! I recently saw you on webcammodels! I also am on that site but want to switch to MFC, have you found more success there? what do you like better so far?
 
Hi all! I am new to the Cam Girl world. Been on MFC for about a week now. I am enjoying it but getting so many requests I am a little overwhelmed. So...I'm curious about a few things:

#1 - People asking to buy me things or sell my panties and so forth...how do I do that and keep my location private?! I assume there is no way but I thought I should ask first.

#2 - I am so clueless on what to charge for Skype sessions and videos. Where do I start? I have been looking at other models pages but many have been doing this for years and I, starting out, am obviously not going to charge the same amount as them.

Any help is much appreciated! Happy camming!

Definitely! For starters it's way easier to get a public chat show started. Webcammodels.com really is based around getting privates. Because they limit you to increments of 50, 100, or 200 tokens and half the guys on there aren't willing to pay any of those for anything in free chat.

Also the minute I raised my private cost to 20 tokens/min I got almost no privates when at 10/min I would get anywhere from 1-4 in an hour depending on how long they lasted. Some guys would take me private for 2 mins just to see me naked and then exit (again cheap people on there).

My goal with that site was to gain a little bit of a following over the summer so when I moved they would follow me to MFC but I don't believe any of them did. Webcammodes.com is really finicky about what you can and cannot post or have in your profile. There's literally no way to say you moved to a new site even without mentioning said site. You can put your Twitter but most people on the site don't utilize Twitter like MFC.

But on top of all that MFC has an amazing atmosphere if you can create it within your room. Being on webcammodels.com did however get me comfortable with talking to myself while the room went quiet which is half the battle lol. I've experienced less traffic to my room on MFC but that's to be expected for a while since there is a whole lot more models than the measly 10 in a room on webcammodels.com. I'd say definitely move over to a more established site if you are looking to make it a long term job :)
