Hi all. I've been reading the forums for the last few months, but just got around to officially signing up today.

I am a relatively new to the camming world and have been trying to learn as much as I can. My partner used to be an on cam performer before the rise of the big sites.

Hearing his stories made me interested to see how things had changed since then. Also, on a different note, I did study the psychology of human sexuality while I was in school.

I have found the models and broadcasters to be interesting, fun, ambitious people.

Right now, whether or not we will start camming ourselves hasn't been determined.

I would like to say thank you to all the people who have taken time out of their day to answer questions and offer support to the other members.

Hey guys...
Not a model currently but have been seriously considering it for a while as a means to make the income I need to get on with my life (I'm 25 and time's a wastin'!) and begin moving into the direction I really want to go. It seems as though working in this industry has the potential to be extremely lucrative.
However, I lack the funds needed for the equipment and tools to be successful, and SUPER super shy!
Kind of just don't know where or how to start, especially with the overwhelmingly large amount of options available.
I love music, art, my dog, philosophy, psychology, and anything that creates those cerebral sparks I consider to be the gems and purpose of life. My life, anyway.
My own research has led me to this website as I have found it to be the most informative by far and also offer the most widely varying perspectives than anywhere else. I am so glad I found it!
Given my totally newb status, any and all advice is greatly appreciated on getting started, especially on very limited financial resources...which is really the only thing that has kept me from actually starting out already.
Thanks everyone for all the positive and friendly vibes, it really is so nice to see so much of it considering how much hate and negativity circulating the internet these days.

My wife and I started on basically nothing. We definitely have very limited resources as we are doing this to make that mortgage payment. Granted, it’s been a slow start but seems as though it will work out as soon as we reach not noob status. Anyway nice to meet you and hopefully it works out.

I checked mfc but unfortunately I can't sign up bec it doesn't no longer accept models from our region (I'm located in southeast asia) which is sad.

Any advise on other cam sites that can help me increase my traffic in Skypeprivate?

I'm not positive, but from a quick look, Jessica Kent looks like a studio that probably won't have much to offer in the way of helping you make money. Just from looking at their site, it seems like you'd be better off without them taking a cut of your earnings. What do they offer that you feel you need? Any information they might be able to give you is likely here on the forum, free to access without giving up a percentage of your earnings.
