Wine, Spirits, and beer pairing

It has been a looong time since I have been here, but I think I would like to ask a question to all you awesome AC fans. What is the best pairing for a good cigar (Gurkha Widow Maker is my favorite). The end of the day I enjoy a nice snifter of 18 yo Jamesons and a nice cigar to relax. I need to find other pairings. What wine, beer, etc would be good?

Knob Creek Whiskey and a good Cream Sherry are my two favorites with a cigar.

Drambuie and Courvoisier for me when I was young. Can't say I've tried all the Courvoisier collection but have savored the VS, VSOP, Napolean and the 12 year old. Was not disappointed with them.

 

[Nordling]

Laphroaig 10 year old Single Malt Scotch. I like to dip the tip of the cigar in this super peaty scotch.

Oh, and wine... I'd go with Petite Sirah...Bogle or better.

Beer? Have to be Guinness.
