Resembles the book in name only. That is fine with me. The trailer intrigues me and I hope the movie will be good.

Yep. I was wondering how they were going to play this when I heard it announced. I guess that's to be expected but one of the things I like about the book was different stories of survival rather than following one person's perspective.

It is interesting while reading the book, I kept wondering how the movie would turn out.

I am cautiously optimistic

I dislike that the movie has a hero that saves the day. It takes away from the zombie hoards if they can be stopped by one person.

I agree that this movie looks nothing like the story from the book, but I wish that all movies would be remade in this format, just for the entrainment value.

I'm exactly the opposite. I would have continued reading the book had it been one person's perspective (or one linear story line) since I prefer my books to be that way.

I like my zombies to be reanimated corpses, slow but incredibly large numbers. Not incredibly fast swarming resembling insects.

I'm still interested in seeing this, but I gave up hope on it being anything like the book's multiple perspectives long ago.
