Would you attend a convention?

Hey everyone! The AVN 2023 Vegas Expo/Awards happened this past weekend. I watched a number of Chaturbate cams broadcasting for the show. Got me thinking if I would ever go to a convention as either an attendee or a broadcaster. I think at one point you had to be invited or a nominee for the award show in order to broadcast from the convention floor, but I think now you just ask and they plan the floor space accordingly. Might still be invite/nominee only. If so, and you were invited, would you go?

I think it was just MyfreeCams and Chaturbate but I didn't hit Stripchat site to see if they had a presence.

There was really awesome body work by Sinful Designs (google, it's the tape guy). There were flogging shows and in general seemed like everyone was having somewhat of a great time.

I loved seeing the pics and vids from AVN but that's all. Of course it wouldn't be an option for me even if I wanted to attend but it all seems so overwhelming and socially draining, I don't see myself ever wanting to.

i wouldn't. two reasons

- i'll probably have some wine and i never drink, so half a glass and 3 sheets to the wind. waltz my drunk ass right to the streamate booth and ask them why their site is so goddamn broken. probably get in some sort of screaming match with streamate's chris. thus getting my ass banned from the site before i can get back to my hotel room.

- i hate crowds/large gatherings.

Interesting that you hate Streamate so much. Does Michael Vegas still broadcast on there? He was one of the first porn stars they secured.

To answer my own question, I don't think I could handle it. It's one thing to have guys come at you with thousands of miles apart but to be in your face and wanting to touch you or hug you or whatever, I just can't imagine.

I guess I kind of view my contribution to the porn community as a living porn magazine. I'll pose, I'll strip, I'll go within my limits but to be around free range people seems really invasive.

i actually dont hate streamate. it's been my main site for 10 years and overall favorite camsite. just loudly critical because i believe in the site and have been frustrated with the tech issues.

i have no idea. but nina hartley has been regurly streaming there since the pandemic.

Nina is a rock star. I saw her on another cam site a few years ago. She had no shortage of suitors for sure.

I think I would like to meet Shirley from CB but I also think I'd fan girl her to death.
