The world, including the world of webcam itself, knows very little about models’ workplaces and daily life experiences, both in general and overall. In an attempt to fill the gaps, YNOT and sociologist Dr. Chauntelle Tibbals developed the YNOT CAM MODEL SURVEY.

Tibbals and YNOT seek models and chat hosts of all experience levels to participate, as well as help spread the word about the survey on social media and within the model community.

Saw this today and thought I'd share in case anyone is interested in participating.

The survey has ended and YNOT are starting to tease the results, based on their preliminary analysis of the responses from over 400 cam models from around the world.

Some of their findings on models' political views:
  • Models most preferred Bernie Sanders to be the next U.S. president (29%), with Hillary Clinton (21%) beating out Donald Trump (10%)—but losing to the "none of these" option (23%).
  • Models care most about healthcare as a political issue, followed by free speech, women's rights, and education.
Apparently YNOT and Dr. Tibbals will be releasing a full report of their findings "in coming months".

(Related: Dr. Tibbals was interviewed on the Porn and Coffee podcast not long ago.)

Why do you say that?

Because that way they control for popularity and happenings during the campaign. For example, if the survey was only conducted during the month of May when Trump was leading by about 6 points, then the results might have reflected that. By September Hillary was leading by 10 points, so if the survey was conducted then the results would also show that. If they had kept the survey going until election day the results would reflect all of it. Perhaps an "exit poll" conducted the night of the election would have been more accurate.

Because that way they control for popularity and happenings during the campaign.

Makes sense. Although considering the article tells us a number of models wrote in "Kermit the Frog" as their preferred presidential candidate, we might reasonably ask how seriously all this is meant to be taken.
