So I figured this would be a good place to open a discussion about this topic. I'm currently trying to help a model remove some content from AnonV. I'm guessing some of you may be familiar with that site. It seems they don't comply to DMCA requests. Shocker. First, I wanted to know if anyone here has had any success with that (doubtful). Second, I wanted to follow up on a this thread: https://www.ambercutie.com/forums/threads/taking-legal-actions-to-sue-dmca.32862/.
For a long while, we had an issue with camwhores(tv) sharing our content. I went as far as to contact a lawyer in Cypress to get a quote on what a lawsuit would cost, but they wanted an ungodly amount so I didn't end up going that route. I did end up finding a DMCA agent who somehow could remove content from there so I ended up going that route instead. It seems like these two sites are in some way affiliated but I'm not positive. Anyhow, the reason I'm bringing this up is, I agreed with the original poster in that thread. If enough girls want their content removed from these sites, you'd think there could be some sort of class action against the site owners/hosts. I realize they reside in locations that make this difficult, but I feel like something should be able to be done about this. Do we all just accept the fact that they can record your shows, and as long as they're in a "safe" location, it's ok? Because it's too hard, we just say fuck it?
Sorry, I'm on a bit of a frustrated tirade because I'm really feel bad for this model who wants her content down from this site. I just don't think this should be acceptable behavior. Our models don't even really offer free video and it's still a big issue. I can't imagine what a mess it is for all the free streaming models. It's hurting everyone's business here and the only people making the money are the ones stealing the content.
