I have had a Pvt with this one model, and for me she is incredible. Fun, funny, amazing body and it was great BUT in both public AND our Pvt show, she does over the top fake moaning, regardless of what she is doing.. even if she is just stroking the dildo or whatever.
This really put me off and made it very difficult to enjoy as much as I should have (I still enjoyed her a lot).

I would love to take her again and again BUT I am unsure how (or if I should) to politely ask her not to do the fake moans, at least not to the extremity that she does. A bit of fake moaning isn't too bad at all, I am fine with that even if I know it's fake.
I understand why she does it, it seems like the guys watching her love it, but for me, it made it less enjoyable.

I don't think it's bad or unfair of me to want to ask her this, but is there a way, and how do I approach the situation to ask? I don't want to make her feel bad or anything else, nor do I wish to be rude or not understanding the "why".
(I don't want her to just have a dildo in her mouth the entire show - but even that didn't top her last time anyway lol). But really.. any input is greatly appreciated on this.

yes, and it helps also a lot to keep in mood :)
Have you tried yourself to fake moan so bad ? Without mocking ofc, just like you thought she could like it more and you're only trying for a better harmony.... Maybe she can realize how strange it is xD
But I would rather try to tell her in pm during a slow moment in public :/

You can also ask if she may use a gag ball or use a scarf as a gag, this can be a kink.

ah, ok, so you tried the gag... and the moan comes from deep (forget lol)

There is no way to win this, either deal with it or don’t take her private. No matter what, you will likely hurt her feelings if you try to let her know you don’t like her sounds.

Huh? If a cam model is doing stuff that annoys you enough to come here to talk about it, please save both her and yourself the grief and move on.
There are 10,000 *) cams models online at any given time of the day. Keep looking. At least you know what your thing is.

*) Not a scientifically calculated number.

You never should mention things like this one unless she asked you to.

If her moans are annoying to you, stop taking her to privates.
Hang out in the public chat, tip here and there (especially if she has a tip menu), purchase her content.
If you can't handle her moaning at all, just stop visiting her room.

And only if you decide to stay in her room&she asks you what turns you on/turns you off, you're free to mention (in a polite way) that any intense moans put you off and you prefer a gentler/rarer moaning. Even then, I don't recommend to get straight to the point. You better be careful and respectful and start formulating your complaint with something like "All people have a totally different fetishes, kinks, turn-ons and turn-offs, and that's perfectly fine. For example, what turns you off? *her response and her question back* Oh, what about me? I'm a fan of a gentle shows so, maybe, too strong moaning puts me off a little. I've seen a lot of that in porn and I get kinda distracted from wanking by it, haha. But I absolutely love *any thing she does&you genuinely enjoy*".
You can even start a conversation on your own if she never brings up this topic. Ask her about kinks and fetishes, likes and dislikes.
But start telling her about your preferences only when she asks you back.

If she's smart, she'll get the hint and you may give her one more chance. If not, well, she's not for you, move on.

And Brett, please, don't use the word "fake" when/if you talk to her about that.

P.S. The post by @DoD404 COMPLETELY TURNED ME OFF.
COULD YOU USE A GAG BALL PLEASE? I'M NOT MOCKING, I'M SERIOUS.

Does it sound nice? No? Well. And now imagine what the model may feel.

I differ... give her a little credit, some people can handle polite criticism well especially if it comes from someone who wants to spend more in your room.
Just deliver it softly and more importantly: privately. Don't ever criticise a model publicly, goes without saying.

I would phrase it something like this..
"Hey I think you are incredible. Fun, funny, amazing body, I really enjoy myself when I visit you, there is only one tiny thing that I think could make me enjoy it more. Do you think you could try to be as real as possible? I realize most people get off on loud moaning models and I know I am in the minority but I really love it when it's genuine. Do you think you could try to make it as genuine as possible when I take you private? I want you to enjoy yourself and not fake anything, not even the moaning".

Now, she might go completely in the opposite direction, but it's worth a try.

I respect Mila's point of view but as a private based model, I'd request to pay me twice more
if someone gave me the hint that I'm not being genuine enough.

Just an example:
An usual show = 500 tokens.
A "genuine" show = 1000 tokens.

Some people moan loudly (not me, though) because it's in their nature.
You can't really say it's fake until they're open about faking.

And "just enjoy yourself" is the silliest phrase I've ever heard from members.
These shows usually are the worst.
Every member has their expectations and that's totally fine.
I just want to know what these expectations are.
I don't have to guess.

So if there's a choice between an unclear "just enjoy yourself, be genuine"
and a straightforward "could you stop moaning please? I'm sorry but I don't like it",
I definitely would choose the second.

I'm not trying to confront anyone, I'm just giving my perspective.
All models are different. But I'm sure there are some models like me.

I would not mention it, unless she is specifically asking for feedback. Or, alternately, is specifically complaining about slow business or something.
I would just go to a different model. If she then asks you why you have not visited her, then that would be inviting constructive criticism.

There are so many different things which could be going on. She could be hard of hearing herself, thus not realizing how loud she is moaning. She could have a noisy house, and be anxious about it, and thus trying to cover up the background noise. She could be worrying about the speakers on her webcam, and them not picking up audio very well, at times. She could have had a sexual experience with a current or past lover, who did not like her moaning, and thus camming is her only outlet for it... idk.

As a prolific moaner myself (always real, but sometimes amplified/ exaggerated for various different reasons) I have not liked the one guy who comes back to my room, repeatedly asking me not to. I don't want to hurt his feelings, but I would rather he just didn't come back. He's been a regular for so long, that I don't want to appear ungrateful, but if he doesn't like my moaning, I think he should just go find a model who's style is a better match for him (there are no shortage of models needing $$). I rarely accept his shows anymore, and am about to stop accepting completely.

I also used to have a regular who hated me smiling. So he would always come, and buy these long, boring shows, and every time I smiled, he would mention it, and tell me not to. If that's his thing, fair enough, I would just want him to go find a less expressive model (that he feels more comfy/ horny with), rather than offer feedback. Because most of my regulars want me to smile. Like I said, the only way I would mention it, is if you are 100% sure, this model is looking for your feedback, and/or general feedback. Because as models, we get so much feedback of the double bind type. Like for example, lots of guys will say "I want a real orgasm, no faking", but then on the next hand say; "I don't want you wasting time, I want you to cum now (2 mins into a show)." Or some guys will say; "I wish you would be quiet and dirty talk less, and just focus on having an orgasm", then the very next show a dude will say; "I wish you would talk more, and let me know when you are close to cumming, I hate how models never tell us when they are close to cumming, or dirty talk."

As a model, I get to the point, where unless I specifically ask, I don't want to hear it. Because I have no way of knowing if it's just subjective feedback, or something which would really apply to the majority of guys who buy shows with me. Hoping this doesn't come off as rude, just wanting to give you honest feedback. If a dude told me he didn't like something like that, I would be nice to his face, and do that show for him. Inside I would be not enjoying myself, and hoping he just moved on to someone else, however too scared of potential conflict, and him feeling rejected, to tell him that. Then I would start the subtle, prolonged, passive ghosting routine. Which really gets old, for everyone involved.

I wouldn't mind the feedback personally... but it seems like im in the minority.

I think the way to Express it would be as a preference not like a critique. Simply like Nigerian prince said.. just as "hey i like quieter privates is that something you could do?"

I would rather that than just loose a customer for something i might be comfy enough to change quite simply....

But u definitely run the risk off offending her so you're gonna have to decide based off what u know of her and whether she will want to know your preferences

I’ve had members who have told me “Just relax and be yourself/ you don’t have to do the whole loud moan thing for me” and I didn’t feel upset or pissed off (kinda relieved because I hate the type of members who push me into theatrics) I would just approach it like “you don’t have to go all out I like just laid back and less moaning” and it doesn’t sound harsh, a lot to ask for or mean—after all I’m a private based cam model and the most frustrating thing for me is people not telling me what they want when it’s something specific or simple.

I think as camgirls were often dealing with either people who want to push the whole “this is crazy interactive porn and I want her to go all out brazzers style” VS “I just want a more authentic, girl next door playing with herself” vibe

I agree with this, but with a bit of a caveat: I need to trust the member that I'm doing a pvt with. I play up my public shows a little bit. Nothing excessive, just a little more moaning and movement so it's interesting. If a regular that I trust takes me pvt and says "just relax and be yourself," they'll likely get very little moaning except when I orgasm because that's what I'm like off cam, and I know that they're okay with this.

But then there's members who have never watched any of my shows and/or don't understand that (many) women don't moan and scream theatrically when they're barely touching themselves, so when I'm doing a pvt with someone brand new and they want me to "relax and be myself," it's hit or miss. Some are happy with a quieter show, and some seem to think "relax" actually means a lot of moaning and theatrics.

I'm also in the "I wouldn't mind the feedback" team.

I wouldn't want to lose a good, respectful customer (and based on your posts here I'm assuming you're that) over something minor I can easily adjust. Of course every comment on something having to do with ones sexual expression, no matter if it's in a personal or professional setting, has a potential to be painful, so it's important how you say it. I would for sure like to have some positive reinforcement with that kind of request i.e. mentioning other things you enjoy that make you want to come back to me. And I second not mentioning you think the moaning is fake, if you decide to tell her approach it in a way that makes it clear it is about your sexual preference, not about something being wrong with her expression.

For me private shows are a space where I welcome requests and feedback as long as they're respectful of me and my boundaries. The way I see it I can't make your fantasies come true if I don't know what they are so just tell me, and the better you describe what you enjoy and what you don't really like, the easier it is for me to do my job. Public shows are a different thing of course and unless I specifically ask you about *this* particular aspect of my show just enjoy what I'm doing, tip for something else from my menu or find another model.

Dude she is moaning while giving a dildo a blowjob, I think it’s pretty safe to assume she is faking at least that. Not all models are the same, some models are authentic when they perform and others add some theatricality because some members like it. I see it all the time with Lush models on Chaturbate. I get some women are more sensitive than others but when they act like they are being electrocuted after a 1 token tip I think it’s safe to assume it is “enhaced” for effect. In fact, I am always authentic in my reactions and I’ve had members ask if my Lush is even “on” cause I’m not reacting hard enough to their 15 token tip. So I see why models dial it up.

Personally I think models who offer private shows are offering a service that a member is paying for and one of the priorities should be to satisfy him as long as the requests aren’t violating your boundaries. When I did private shows at the beginning of my career I always tried to listen to what the member wanted, and I don’t think a request for being genuine is much different than someone who asks you for a particular fetish. It’s simply a preference and not a judgement.

As we all can see, the worst thing is not knowing what a member wants/prefers.

I personally stop enjoying the show as soon as "just enjoy yourself" kicks in.

I'm here to do my job. If I have some fun during the process, fine.
If I don't, not a big deal. I'm fine as long as my boundaries aren't being crossed.

I definitely will enjoy myself after my stream. Exactly the way I like.

But I'm at work now. So I want to know what YOU want.
I mean YOUR ENJOYMENT AND, HOPEFULLY, CUM by "my job".

So I want to know everything to do a great job.
All the fantasies, fetishes, kinks which a member expects for me to perform.

I hate guessing.

Or that "surprise me" thing.
Am I what, a magician? Or your personal clown?
I'm gonna surprise you a lot when I suddenly hit the "leave a private show" button.

I want to know what members want.
People are different so their wishes may vary a lot.

And I'm fine with it. As long as it's within my limits and as long as I don't have to puzzle over what "just enjoy yourself/be genuine" means.

That being said, turns out that all members who say something like that, expect to see TOTALLY DIFFERENT KINDS OF SHOWS.

I want her to go all out brazzers style” VS “I just want a more authentic, girl next door playing with herself” vibe

So there are four ways:
1. Be clear about your preferences in a rude and pushy manner (an easy way: you'll get blocked either you're a new member in someone's room or a regular one. Perfect for dickheads)

2. Be polite&clear about your preferences from the very beginning when there's no personal connection/human appreciation yet (an easy way with a new model if you decide to move on. The best case, IMHO)

3. Try to be respectful yet make your wishes clear to the current model (a difficult way. It may result in you getting blocked or you (only you or you both) finding the gold middle. At first sight, at very least. Because there's a risk that the model may be too shy or nice to push you away so she'll say "yeah, sure", but she may start ghosting you/avoiding your invitations eventually, like @EliMarie717 does. My digital hugs to her)

4. Keep acting like nothing special is going on but you'll find yourself disappointed, sooner or later, because her moaning obviously bugs you enough to come here and start this thread (a difficult way, the model in question is gonna feel your coldness anyway).

Choose your poison, sir. :playful:

Mila, I didn't try to confront you.
You're a highly experienced model.

But maybe times have changed since you were doing privates, or maybe, there's just a slight misunderstanding.

Because you don't get my point.
I haven't said that we should send people to fuck themselves if they have their preferences.
No doubt. They pay and they get the show they're looking for.
My point is that different members mean absolutely different things when they request a genuine show.
Some mean "be as sexy and expressive as you can, be your hottest self" and some mean "be quiet and nice".
So there's no such a thing as a truly genuine show.

I've had a private show where a nice member (he seemed this way to me back then) requested a genuine show. He said, "just enjoy yourself".
Then he called me robotic and senseless.
It's clear that he had some expectations and they weren't met.
My "genuine" wasn't equal to his "genuine".
And all the shows with the same requests were just a little better than that one.
But overall, they all sucked big time for me and for members.
That's why I don't see it as a reasonable request.
Too unclear and vague.

But to each their own, I guess.

Omg that’s the definition of walking on eggshells.

I enjoy myself a lot when I work and I don’t necessarily see it as incompatible, in fact, my aim is always to enjoy myself as much as possible, if I didn’t enjoy it and was just doing it mechanically I would look for a different gig.

Then again, I’m not a private based model and I only do exactly what I want when I want to in my shows. Maybe if I had to do 6 cumshows per day I would feel quite differently... but... again... that’s the reason I don’t do privates or cum shows.

🤷‍♀️

Sorry for the double post, we posted at the same time so I didn’t see this before posting my other reply.

I can see what you mean, and it would definitely bother me if someone requests a genuine show and then complain about it being “robotic” or whatever. I think that’s the member that deserves a kick in the groin. Many members are entitled or have no idea what they want to watch and give contradictory messages to the model. That’s totally on them. It happens a lot in the dom/sub world too, you just need to learn to weed out the assholes and not take their assholery personally cause they probably suck the exact same in real life too.

I’m also not trying to confront you or feel confronted by you, I just sometimes really get into the arguments cause I find the topics very interesting and we just happen to have completely opposing views. I am someone who used to take criticism very very personally and had to learn to make a distinction between my worth as a person or in a specific capacity and a critique aimed at my “product”. It helped me grow so much in my craft (unrelated to camming) being able to listen to criticism with an open mind. Does that mean you have to take every critique? Nah! Some people are stupid and make no sense, you gotta learn how to filter, but there’s a lot of people who do offer very good advice.

In this case it isn’t even a critique per se, he just has a preference and we shouldn’t judge him based on previous experiences with other members, I guess, then again I do make pretty fast decisions on the fly when I identify “red flag” behavior in members in my public chat and I’m sure I’ve punished some innocents with the trash. So this “genuine” shit could be a red flag for you. Don’t blame you.

I'm really happy for you! ❤️
No sarcasm or irony.

But I didn't say that I have to do my shows mechanically.
I just said that's not a big deal if I don't have so much fun.

I can't have fun with every member.
Let's be honest. Very few models can.

That's not about putting up with dickheads.
Let me give you an example.

I do offer footfetish shows. I also shoot videos for feet lovers here and there.

I personally am not into footfetish.
Do I find this fetish gross? No way!
Does it turn me on? No, like, for real. Just nope.

Why should I refuse to do a footfetish show if a member's being nice and ready to pay? There's no harm in it for me.

It's just not my thing but it doesn't mean I can't offer this kind of shows. Especially if I'm good at it and if I know what to say to a person with this particular fetish.

So I didn't mean that I have to hurt myself physically or mentally for doing what I'm doing.
I mean that I'm not into every fetish/kink I cater to or have been offered to cater to. And that's perfectly fine.

Feeling comfortable/not being grossed out is enough.

I'm just trying to be professional and trying to do my job.
And that's what it is. A job.
Not in a bad meaning. In a good meaning.
I care about my business and about well-being of my customers.
And if they can be clear about their preferences and I can make them happy, it's a win-win.

I want to know what members want.
Note: Talking in general terms here, thinking aloud.

Many members don't exactly know what they want, they don't know how to express it if they do, or they are simply shy. They could be suppressing fetishes that you maybe wouldn't or couldn't indulge them anyway. 10 man bukkake show? It's a thing, but probably not something a member will get a "YES, FINALLY!" on should they request it. Personally I have very specific stuff that gets me going (not that bukkake thing), but I just wouldn't bother with it in a pvt setting.

People have professional, practical, imaginary and self imposed boundaries on both sides of the cam. There is a lot of sexual oppression on the member side of the cam, both by the member him/herself and by the society around him/her. I'm also guessing a lot of members are starting with pretty much a blank canvas exploring their sexuality via cam models, but is it a cam model's job to help them with that? Then again, some people are just outright boring. Who's to say what you got on the other side of the pvt.

"Just enjoy yourself" is IMO shorthand for "get off while I watch". Why is that not a legitimate request? We guys need our dicks sucked or something nice to watch. You have to lower yourself to our level.

If you’re in a public/group show: don’t say anything. She’s trying to entertain multiple people and it’s not about you preferences.

If you’re in a private: Ask in a respectful way. You’re paying for a private show, you have the right to make requests as long as you do so in a tactful manor. That being said don’t accuse her of being “fake”. That’s going to come of as rude no matter how you phrase it. Just say you prefer quieter moaning.

I understand how annoying it is when people make requests in public shows, but I’m honestly surprised by the amount of people saying not to bring it up in a private?

You have to lower yourself to our level.
No, thanks. :haha:
(Sorry, I couldn't resist)

Well, I'm a human too. Moreover, I'm a member too (when I have time, money and mood for it).

I personally know what I want to see.
If other people don't, I'm sorry for them but it's not my problem.

I don't set my prices high enough to include "discover your sexuality with me for hours and hours and I'll show everything I can come up with to probably never figure out what you like and leave you dissatisfied" in the show. My shows are pretty affordable
(not too cheap and not too expensive).

So I have the right to and prefer to only deal with people who know what they want.
I'm happy to provide a specific service.
I'm not happy to provide an unknown service.
If you don't know what you want, I don't know how much it'll cost.
Simple as that.

I see your point, I appreciate the input and I understood you.
There are many other models who are happy to help all sorts of newbies and self-conscious people to discover their sexualities.
I'm just not the one of them.
And again, I'm sure there are some models like me, with a similar mindset/style of work.
Members just should be aware of that too.

Exactly. There is something for (nearly) everyone in the cam world, so look elsewhere if things don't match. It's really simple, but apparently also really difficult.

But I think in the case of this member, he does seem to know exactly what he wants. He really likes that model and everything about her is enjoyable BUT her fake moaning. I don't think saying "quieter moaning" is the same because it's not a matter of volume, he isn't bothered by her loud moaning, but by how fake it is. If asks for quieter moaning she could simply lower the volume and continue to moan in ways that break the fantasy for OP. Like.. when sucking a dildo. This is why it is important for him to express that what he wants is to see a more natural or genuine orgasm. To be honest a girl who isn't trying to come off as authentic (the electrocution Lush show models or models who are over the top in the theatrics like this) would be silly to take offense at someone saying they find that over the top performance fake

Honestly, this would make me change my previous answer. Asking a model to be less “fake” isn’t going to go well, but if you just made it about your own audible preferences for a quieter experience that could go really well.

This whole thread also makes me super happy I don’t do privates anymore. Lol

Well, cbhours has also sense. Well, I never faked moaning so I guess even with lot of following sometimes I can't get goal because majority of guys loves loud moans. LOL

I moan a lot because thats my sex talk. I get accused of faking quite a bit, but I'm honestly not faking. I'm just doing what I normally do. I especially moan more when I start doing things to myself.

Is this me? 😂

Honestly I get pissed if someone accuses me of faking, because I'm being genuine. But if they are polite and ask me to be a little, quieter, I'll do my best, but some moans slip out.
