Hi everyone! First of all, I'm really happy to join the ambercutie community! I really like what I've seen so far!! people are helping each other instead of acting as competitors!

The reason why I created this thread is because I am working on a platform that will enable you a new stream of income. It's a simple idea: your fans can make a request to you by depositing the tokens in advance. You have a certain time frame to accept and deliver the offer. The tokens will be credited to your account.

To get straight to the point: My objective is it to design the service in YOUR favor and not just in a way that makes the customer the king and performers come second.

I'd be really happy if you could share with me your biggest pain points you face on the current sites regarding payments. Such as: fees, withdrawals, payment methods, any hurdles like minimum amounts needed for withdrawal, waiting times, etc. To put it differently, what are your wishes regarding payment?

Looking forward from hearing from you and can't wait to mingle with the community :)

With Love,
L

This is what every webcam site offers at least the big platforms , the member tip and we do , or take as private and we get paid for every minute , the tokens are credited imediately in our accounts and we then get paid in payment providers by the site .

i do love when a site offers :
Ista payment means that you can request payment when you want ( with an 10-20 dollars ) and the money come credited in your ewallet instant , like bongacams does
or at least to take payment in the same day like chaturbate does .

a big plus what bongacams has its also that no matter if is bussiness day or not you get the payment imediatelly .

max 0.50 $ ( 1$) fee per withdrawal because the ewallets already milk us with a lot of fees , and bank accounts too

I does not sound like a bad ideea honestly , but you must also take in counting that many of the costumers will offer the model less than she would sell herself lol , because yeah... , there should be a system that allow model to fix the prices for her services , otherwise you will see a lot of 1 token tip offers for squirt lol :hilarious: and that would be really frustrating to spend my time to click the refusal

this days there is no pain at all . some sites paying a fair comission to the model, u can have daily payment if u want, sites like mfc dont have any minimum , u make 5$ u get them , there are no charge backs, lots payments options, all is good . Your ideea is kind of adultwork site i think, there are guys paying first and booking time with a model .

i don't have any troubles with payements, i switched from Bitcoin to Paxum on all my sites recently because I don't like the current BTC volatility. Through I tent to prefer crypto, and I choosed my main sites between those who proposed that (CB, Stripchat, Soda)

I would just complain about certain sites (streamate, LiveJasmin) that have a needless holding period for whatever reason. Minimum payements are very low (50 USD on most sites I believe) so it's not a big problem.

I can't really imagine how your system works. It's like "I pledge you 1$ for a 20 minutes anal fisting video? Give or take" in your description.

Personally, I prefer the option of daily pay w $20 or $25 minimum, such as IWC, AVN and OF have (with a 7 day clear period). I like the option of ACH/ Direct Deposit to a US Bank account. I don't mind that Streamate does weekly pay, I think my minimum is $100, and it goes right to my bank account. I use several sites that do biweekly, and even C4S who only does once monthly, but because they are good sites I just deal with it. However, in a perfect world, my ultimate preference would be daily, like I said.

If a site has more than $100 minimum payout I simply won't sign up. I think XVideos was either $500 or $1000 minimum, so I gave up on it as a site, even though I made a little passive money there, because it's so unmotivating to have the payout set higher than $100. Even ManyVids recently put theirs down to $50. I used to get payouts every month from Pornhub, because of Modelhub (I sold lots of clips there), but since they screwed up with Visa, I have given up on them for now, I don't think there even is a payment method for modelhub anymore. I think their minimum was also $100, and I'm not going for that with views on free clips only. No way I'm uploading that many.

A lot of other models do like bitcoin as an option. I have not gotten into that yet, but I know there are many who would like that.

I notice a lot of Canadian models having problems with payment on many of the sites. It shouldn't be so difficult for models in other countries, besides the US, to get a timely payment w/ no delays.

I would also want the ability to refuse a request. Loads of guys write me across sites with these "ideas" and they totally lowball. So I am not the fondest of sites that don't offer the model the chance to refuse upfront. Because all that results in, is their customer support having to do a refund, as there is no way I'm letting the customer set the price, and my limits. The number of times I've had Manyvids do refunds for customs, that strangers have ordered without messaging me first, and which there is no way that I would do, is unbelievable. Any site should have an escrow system where the model can initially decline or accept the idea, right off the bat.

What are my wishes for payment?

Bigger payment percentages. I’m greedy. I want at least 80%... But honestly I want as much as I can get. If I can get 85% or 90%, I’m going to take it lol.

Low minimum payments! I love that MFC’s minimum payout is $20. I can also request payout there now. Also a big bonus!

I don’t mind waiting a couple days for it to hit my bank. I would prefer it to be faster, but 2 days is not a dealbreaker for me, it’s just standard. If I could receive it instantly to my bank account, that would be great.

The option to use crypto would be nice.

As to how this service works, say Client A wishes to purchase a custom video from me. So they’d go to the site, purchase site currency, say they purchase 1000 credits? And then they’d be able to request certain things we would list that we offer? (Might be better than just leaving it wide open bc some of these dudes will go ape shit in a description box and then offer $50... 🤮😂💀) Or just go Willy Nilly into a description box, and add a time and a price they are willing to pay for said requests? And if the model accepts it, the money goes into their site current balance....? And then what happens? Are they able to cash out right away? Is there a holding period for that money? What happens if the model does not deliver the product? They negotiate the time frame? Is the model able to counteroffer, rather than just straight up decline? Are they able to make the price higher?

I’m only asking cause this reminds me sort of how I want custom clips works (I think? It’s been awhile)

I used the example of custom videos, but could this be for anything? Physical and digital/online only gifts? For example say client wants to buy lingeries sets, clothing, a signed photo, etc, or even for photosets, etc etc. What type of usage were you thinking?

Very curious!

Thank you for your feedback Diana! My main focus is also to process the payouts as fast as possible but as I can see, most cam websites offer this already, so it appears to be kind of an industry standard anyways.

That's a good point! So what would help you with scanning through all the requests, is that you can sort the requests by token value and time left to accept the offer. After 7 days, the offer would be declined automatically if you don't accept it. So no need to refuse the requests individually.

Thanks for your feedback! So no pain at all, that's nice to hear. Do these sites deduct the VAT already from your earnings when you make a withdrawal or do you have to remit the VAT yourself?

Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies are very much something I'm looking to integrate because I believe digital currencies are going to be the future. How long is the holding period on livejasmin? I am thinking whether a 10 day holding time would be too long or not. So customers could make a complaint if they haven't received the service.

My system intends to cater your client's requests outside of cam modeling sites. While I am aware that your clients can make individual requests to you in the live chat, my system would make it possible for you to check a list of already funded requests (not only pledged) that stay online for 7 days. You would then be able to accept the request and credit the tokens to your e-wallet. Imagine it as your official point of contact for requests to you.

Since some people here are worried that people will only offer 1$ for services/products that are much more worth - would you be interested to be able to set a minimum $ amount in order to make requests to you?

Thanks for your feedback! Yes I can believe that lowballed offers can be frustrating. Also the high withdrawal minimums! So declining requests is something that I definitely have to consider. What I like about a take it or leave it approach though is that it minimizes the energy spent on bargaining with requesters. Regarding the manyvids custom videos - this feels like too much buyer protection. I feel like as long as you have checked undeniable requirements like length of video, content, this should be enough for the customer to not be able to get a refund. Clients have unrealistic expectations these days when it comes to such things.

Minimum payout of $20 seems to be a decent threshold!

As to how this service works - The client would purchase the tokens (which are the same rate as USD, so you don't have to calculate every time how many USD those tokens are worth). He then would make a request to you (any legal usage you can think of), in this example let's say "@SNATCH $60 if you send me a 5min masturbation video with the name Josh on your boobs." The client automatically deposits the $60 when he makes the request. The $60 will stay locked for a max of 7 days, that's the period for how long the request is going to stay online. If you decide to accept this request within those 7 days, the tokens will be instantly credited to your site wallet. You then have let's say 3 days to send the service/product before he then has another 7 calendar days to open a dispute in case he didn't receive what he requested. After those 7 days you would be able to withdraw the money to your bank account.

Now when it comes to customer protection, I want them to accept terms & conditions, so that refunds may not be possible and that the site isn't liable for any monetary losses due to not delivered services. This is obviously a sensitive subject that I have to figure out how to handle.

I haven't really thought about bidding/counter offers yet. I have to think about this functionality a bit more.

My only pain point is that when crypto is doing really well transaction fees go up as well. However I have hope that that won't be an issue with ETH if they end up moving to a proof-of-stake concept this year.
I work for a crypto broker and as I can tell from the industry news, ETH might won't be able to reduce their gas fees with their new update but that would be definitely a game changer if they manage to make it happen!

I would bow if i could at this !!!:kiss:

Thats why i do not take video orders anymore , because until the video is discussed in the pm and he pays for it , i literally lost any interest to do the fucking video ! i already hate doing videos buy hey if i have to spend also 1 hour to dicuss about it when i have very clearly described what i do and what the prices are it simply drive me nuts!

I do love manyvids but damm the clients are sooo sooo soooo sooo ........ and also this happends on every vid site. They pm you endless , and also not to say at some sites they can rate your vid gallery without even buying anything !!!!

Yeah, I REALLY don't like this idea of NON-spenders being able to comment/rate/review your stuff (And I see that comment and review feature on MV when I upload vids...can any 'ole body do that without spending?). Wtf. These guys already get to camp out in our free chat (or lurk in the PM Viewer on MFC). They shouldn't be given all these other abilities.
