Hey, I had some time off and I’m setting myself back up.
If I remember rightly I’m better off using a download or plug in instead of the in browser model web to stream. However I can’t remember how to do it!!
Is this still the case with the external software?

I don't believe you can use the downloadable version anymore, using the model web broadcaster is stable and working now. There are full instructions here https://profiles.myfreecams.com/_/broadcast, and should include how to use OBS (mentioned above) as well. Using OBS opens up a lot of fancy options for your stream, highly recommend it.
