Hahaha same. I try to really tuck it up there but it still slips out sometimes and I'm just like here we go again.

Random: Back home I worked on a kelp and mussel farm where we were often on and in the water and looked like a girls swim team. Wardrobe malfs were not common or remarkable but strings showing were pretty usual and since it's all women there no one really notised.

Never really described it as anything else, I have said in terms of being a successful commodes it works a lot like showbiz.

If I had to describe it I would say for me it's my way of escaping reality and somewhere to socialise.
Think just about everyone in real world who uses internet knows what adult webcaming is even if they haven't seen it themselves.

Here's a question;

How do you see a cam site in comparison to a real life place? Is it like a strip club? a coffee shop? a restaurant with a hot date? Anywhere random where you can encounter a hot lady and talk to her?

If you had to explain a cam site to someone who had no idea of how it works - how would you explain it?
I'd say that depending on teh room and model it can be like visiting a strip club, or like being at a fun, entertaining party. (Sometimes both! ;) )

Not gonna lie, my regulars have seem my tampon string way too many times 🤣 New comers get grossed out and just run, my best reggie usually just says he lost brain cells watching me tug it back in on camera 🙈🙈
I've seen that so many times that I just thought it was common practise. Doesn't bother me either way.

When you mess up in a room by breaking either a TOS rule or a model's personal boundaries, how would you prefer she address the issue with you?

If it is me who messed up, it would be 100% unintentional, so I would like a firm (but non-abusive ;) ) telling of what line I had crossed.
And in public chat so it could be a learning opportunity for all the users present.

Sometimes, I don't even come in a sexual purpose, but just to chat or to see if some of the models I really like are ok.
Cam sites for me are entirely about people. On both sides of the camera. Yes, sexy time is good but it's not the be all and end all of it for me otherwise why would I just not use porn?

Tonight I visited my friend to say hello and see how her day went. She seemed down and distracted, I tipped and left. She then sent me a Whatsapp explaining why she was down. We had a brief Whatsapp chat and both of us gave the other a little life boost with nice words. Porn doesn't give you that.

Like you, sometimes I forget the sexual purpose and tip with silly jokes that only she and I get, just for shits and giggles.

I'm pretty vanilla and I'd like to think not that pushy so hopefully I wouldn't intentionally do either. However, like anything in life, just tell me politely but firmly. I won't take offence.

I forgot to add, do you want an explanation behind the correction or just be told, "hey not cool, please don't _______."

Personally, I would like (need? ;) ) an explanation. I am someone who really needs to "know why" in life, not in order to be a jerk and dispute the explanation, I just really like / need to "know why" things in life are as they are.

For me, the explanation could be via PM if the model felt it was not info for public consumption.

Yeah. I mean, if I'd done something awful then I'd be mortified because that's not my style at all but I'd want to know. I'm more likely to so something "mechanically" wrong (like not tip from the menu) so telling me why those things are wrong isn't in any way bad. It's informative and productive.

If I've done something out of line I would prefer a pm or just saying I don't want to talk about it or something.

I rather the model didn't get angry and typing in public chat arguments which tbh is what happens with me and one of the ladies like every other month.

I see that a lot. Guys living on past tips/privates or begging for stuff in lieu of a future private. It seems particularly prevalent with some of the fetish types because often the thing that gets them off isn't a traditional sexual act or doesn't involve nudity so it ends up as a bit of a grey area because the model can be tempted just to do it to get them to keep coming back. It's a bit like going into a store and saying "I bought $50 worth of groceries last week and will do so again next week when I have been paid. Can you give me a bag of apples just now for free?"

Here's a couple of questions and an answers in one.

Do we users get overly attached? Yes. Do we miss you when you leave? Of course.

Today my model friend announced to me that she was thinking of quitting. By evening time, the deed was done. She didn't come online to broadcast. I Whatsapp'd her to see if she was ok and she told me that she was already finished and preparing to move out. To say I'm devastated would be an understatement. Not in the romantic sense. It was never that kind of thing. I'm too much of a realist for that. But we laughed like drains all the time and I'll miss that connection. We used to have some amazing late night chats when times were slow. The truth is that she was just struggling with the downturn. I tried like a bear but I couldn't do it all by myself and too many guys were giving nothing.

We've already made the promises to keep in touch, but like I say, I'm a realist. Without the cam site as that central, regular meeting place, the reality is that communication will eventually drift and then cease.

I'm telling you guys because there is literally nobody else in my life I can tell.

Ahh mate, that's tough. Even when you know it can happen, it's still tough. But, well, maybe the friendship can stand the change.

Stay positive but do not let it get you down too much if it doesn't survive the change.

Well, I always knew it would happen one day I guess. I suspect the friendship will survive in some form but it will never be the same intensity again. Maybe that's the beauty of these things - that they are so fleeting.

I'm going to take some time out from cam sites for a bit. I think the break from the constant pressure of visiting and finding the money to tip will probably do my mental health and bank account some good.

Still gutted though.

The end of any friendship is a sad thing and should be grieved appropriately.
And who knows, maybe the next phase for you two will be equally or even more rewarding.

Sending you virtual hugs. She will miss the friendship too, I am sure. And you are correct, other stuff in life gets on the way. But the fact you were a safe place for her when all the rest wasn't, shall remain intact.

A break for yourself sounds good tbqh.

Question! How "useful" is to you that the model you like has a social media account? Do you go see what time she's going to be online, for example? Do you care that she posts about what she's feeling or doing and so on? (Eta; I'm saying "she" because that's the majority of the forum but ofc I'm referring to any model).

And another one: do you often buy vids or subscribe to the only fans page of a model you like to visit and chat? I have the impression that the members who buy content are usually different from the ones who watch the streams, but lately I've been seeing an overlap. How do you guys feel about this?

Do camming milestones mean anything? Holidays, birthdays, hitting 100,000 followers or celebrating a camiversary?

@Lilly_____ For me personally no content, no onlyfans etc. Just tipping. I also make it a point not to use the same user name on different platforms, I feel more safe that way. So the models wouldn't realize when I buy their content on another site. I'm sure its very different for others.
@Vixxen81 Camming milestones don't mean anything to me. If I like a model and its her birthday I'm happy for her but it doesn't alter my tipping habits.

Very individual answer and clearly not representative

I concur on all of this other than I only use CB.

Do you ignore your friends' and family birthdays?

For a model I visit regularly, like my friend? Yes! Definitely.

For other casual visits? I'd join in any fun etc that I stumbled upon, but would not make any special effort to actually schedule a visit for said anniversary etc.

I have a question, if I may ask: I've assumes that people buy content mostly because they are acquainted with the model who makes it. It is very relationship oriented. Is this correct?

Of course not! What gives you that idea?

I don't love models, I tip them. I do love friends and family, but I don't tip them.

I don't get your question and what it has to do with my answer above.
Seems like you aren't willing to give a gift with nothing in return for a day that is special to her.

I have discoverability turned off on my OF. Not trying to be famous and the only people who have subscribed are from my actual broadcasts on Chaturbate, same with Peach. They have different user names on those sites much to my dismay because I don't know who to acknowledge in chat for a tip or whatever on the other sites.

exactly right!

If a gift is deemed necessary its no gift anymore.

Edit: I like to give those gifts randomly out of the blue and my experience is that the models are very happy when that happens.
