How to Leave a Studio

I have read through a few threads on how to leave a studio but I have a question. A model who left her studio two months ago still has that account open. I have told her to write support and told her to include photo of ID and a selfie. I want her to ask them not to contact the email address associated with the older studio account due to fear of retribution. Will support honor that last request, or is an automatic contact with the email joined to the old account always generated?

Anyway the new method is to try to use the new built in remove id feature. On the models new independent account they need to go to https://chaturbate.com/identity/ and they should see a message in the identification section that says "this person is in use on the following accounts:" if they see the old studio account listed there then they need to hit the remove button next to that studio account. I can't remember if there's any extra dialog after that but that's the route they should take.

There is no remove button next to studio account. Only remove button is next to guest accounts.

Interesting, have the model circle the studio account in the screenshot and send it to support@chaturbate.com (edit: make sure she is sending from the email address she has on file on her new account) explaining that she wants her ID removed from that studio account and that she is no longer affiliated with that studio and also ask why the remove button isnt there. (Just so we know for future reference because I'm personally confused why it wouldn't be there)

Just to be clear can she see this page while shes logged in: https://chaturbate.com/affiliates/ ? because if she cant then regardless of what you want to call this new arrangement shes a studio sub account and to me it makes perfect sense why that command is missing from a studio sub account.

My understanding is that she has her own account. She streams in a group home, and shares the expenses in the house. I do not see that page when she logs in, it opens to the Chaturbate main page then she can click on "BROADCAST YOURSELF."

Oh ok then i dont know why it doesnt show up, does the model still have the login for the studio account? because if so she can go to the same url https://chaturbate.com/identity/ while logged into the studio account and click the 3 dots next to her ID and "delete from this account" i dont rememeber if thats the exact wording. It doesn't send the studio an email either.

Did she have any problems creating and verifying a new Independent account? In the past, CB blocks verifying a new Independent account with the same ID as an existing Studio account (or even an existing Independent account). This may be hit-and-miss, or has been relaxed now.

I know former Studio models who switched to be Independent models and the old Studio accounts are still active months and years afterwards. They can broadcast on the new account and receive payments without any problems. Is she currently having any problems as an Independent model while the Studio account still exists?

Studios do not want models to leave and continue making them rich. They often want them to pay $$$ to "buy" their accounts and keep the accounts active if they do not pay. I have seen some studios "recycle" accounts to another model and just revise all the bio information.

As far as I know this was never a thing, I have never heard of it or seen it or read someone mention it. Some other cam sites yes, but CB? never.

She had no problems opening another account. No problems as an independent yet. I am looking to prevent future problems. Many models are leaving the harsh environment of this studio, including some of the top earners. It seems it is only a matter of time until she turns vindictive.

One studio asked for $2,400 for a model to leave. She was getting paid about $400/month after the studio took their 69% cut.

I can answer that because I asked C that question. They will not ban accounts if asked by a studio. What the studio does is broadcast on the old account and commit a policy violation. In the one instance I personally know of, they put an underage person in the room. The model has yet to hear back from CB after her defense. Only the form response to her initial inquiry. It has been over a month now. She is relegated to cleaning houses just to buy food.
