Promo Tools Not Affecting Traffic – Possible Visibility Issue

My nick is truechatbae, and I’m writing to ask for your assistance regarding an ongoing issue with my room traffic and visibility.





I stream regularly and follow all platform rules and recommendations. I’ve invested significant effort into stream quality — lighting, camera, framing, and overall presentation — and I actively engage with my chat to create a welcoming and interactive environment.





Despite this, my room traffic remains extremely low and does not reflect the quality or consistency of my streams. Even during promo periods and while using a paid promoter with token incentives, my viewer count rarely exceeds 20–21 users. Unfortunately, the promo tools do not seem to have any noticeable effect on my traffic or visibility.





I have also experimented with different tags (including niche and general tags), schedules, and content approaches, but none of these changes have improved the situation. At the moment, my earnings are around 10 tokens per day, which makes it very difficult to continue streaming sustainably.





Because of this, I’m concerned that there may be an issue related to my account’s visibility or how my room is being shown by the platform’s algorithm. It feels as if my room may not be receiving normal exposure in listings, categories, or recommendations.





I kindly ask if you could:

• Check whether there are any technical, algorithmic, or visibility-related issues affecting my account
• Confirm that my room is being displayed correctly across the platform
• Let me know if there are any restrictions, flags, or limitations applied to my account

I truly enjoy streaming on Chaturbate and would really appreciate your help in understanding and resolving this situation.

Hi, just so you know, CB's representative here won't be able to do any of what you're requesting. If you want an "official" answer, the only way is asking support directly and waiting for their answer.

I found this not so old thread. There's some useful insight there.

As of now, there are 9000 cams, each one "competing" for a limited attention pool. Even just between "new" cams (I think that's your case) the competition is hard. There are like 700 right now. Two cams have more than 1000 viewers, a few have more than 100, and for the rest, the vast majority have less than 25. I'd say less than 10, but I'm doing this by eye.

Your first broadcast was on 07-2 , so you're only broadcasting for 4 days now.
How fast do you want to go ?
you can get a little more viewers with promotion but the biggest part comes with your own performance
and that will take some time.

btw , maybe you should also tweak your pricing a bit

Using the paid promotion is a straight up token grab from CB. (Sorry to phrase it that way, but that's how I feel.) It's a completely useless feature and you should never waste your own tokens on it, if you want to do it, ask members do it FOR you.

But email support, they'll check stuff and the response you'll get back is "yep you're right where you're supposed to be."

Oh and one other thing -- you really need to stop pimping telegram in your profile. You are to keep shows on CB and socials should not be your main focus -- it looks like you're trying to pull users off site.

Edit again: Oh for fuck's sake. You cannot tell people you want to meet them off site either. Your entire bio needs to be redone before you're reported and banned.

My blood pressure instantly went up as soon as I saw the entire profile. Like girl, this is why these bullshit rules exist in the first place because of stuff like this. Zero solicitation of any kind. *grumbles in older cam girl*

I would say just have the members to tip you the tokens instead, 100% right in my experience, total token grab.

And it changes. What was okay yesterday may not be okay tomorrow. There's so much I *don't* do because of TOS. No ribbons in my hair, no braids, no headbands, no cat ears, no glasses, won't dye my hair, I won't cosplay...I don't engage in sooo much fetish talk because I can't trust these assholes not to trigger AI.
