cb promote your room feature

Sometimes when my room seems a little slow I like to click "promote your room" to check the current price as a gauge on if cb is busy as a whole or not. No idea if this is really a good gauge or not? I never actually promote my room though it. Anyone know if this would actually be accurate or not?

I promote just about every show, but I wait until it is 50 or 60 tokens. It rarely drops to 50 anymore, if it does that's a good sign it's pretty slow.

I once saw it hit around 400. Just once. Not sure why that day was so special. I did not promote that day.

Promoting definitely helps! My room will double or triple in size. Sometimes I feel like it's the best way to get my regulars to see that I'm online because they are probably menu surfing and I might be on page 10+. Promote and you are on page 1.

for trans, I think its pointless. There is only like 8 pages of people to get through.

I can almost just hold a pose and watch traffic come in whenever I want. ALMOST lol key word lol. Tonight is not one of those nights lol

Gotcha, that makes sense. And that is why I am loving this forum: getting the perspective of other people's experiences to compare to my own.

But as far as a gauge I feel like it is fair to say that if you see 50 as the promote price it is slowish. 50 was pretty obtainable a couple years ago. Now it is rare because more people use the tool and the economy is getting shittier.
