I'm not saying what she did is right, but dear GOD man, you were spending the price if that trip +++ in her room every month? So probably about what? 2-3k, give or take? (depending on if you flew first class, then that's closer to 5-7k) That's an awfully big carrot and to be quite honest I can't say I really blame her for trying to keep your interest?

I can definitely see why a model would go that route, but no amount of mental gymnastics could convince me that it's right or justifiable (not that you were necessarily condoning it). The reverse would be something akin to a rich (albeit lonely) member strongly hinting (flat-out promising?) to financially support a model and lavish her with gifts if she does x, y, and z for him, only for her to later find out that he never had any intention of sending her that money. It's manipulating someone who wants to believe something to be true and taking advantage of their naivety with no thought given to how that might effect them, innit.

Of course the OP should have known better than to take this silly trip but I also can't agree with all the people who say camming is just pure entertainment or even porn. The attraction of cam models is always the huge emotional element or else why would anyone spend such obscene amounts of money on them. These days, online porn is free and readily available and yet people still spend so money on cam models. Models should really drop the hypocrisy of judging those members who have trouble distinguishing fantasy from reality because a big chunk of your income comes from them. The day we all become perfectly rational people who realizes it's all for fun and nothing real will ever result is the day the cam industry dies.

I agree with this. I think that is why it's important for cammodels to have clear boundaries to lay out so no lines get blurred. I never ever lead a customer on, when I tell them I want to fuck them, it's fantasy. I am not going to actually fuck them, and I will tell them the truth.

Really?Because I used to work in a studio years ago and what the owner always said is to be nice to our clients and never ever tell the members we are going to meet.Let`s call it what it is,emotional abuse towards members, and that is not ok.Every model is different and everyone has a different way of camming.
To be fair, I've heard the opposite from models who have worked in EE studios. Obviously not all do that, but it's kinda common. I'm glad you your studio had ethics in place! Reminds us all not all are scummy.

First of all, let me address some things about this subject right quick. Frankly, it is not hypocritical for me not want my customers not to stay in their place and respect my boundaries. Now, I tell customers right off the bat that I will never meet and hold no interest in meeting in person. Most do not cross this line but some of the newer ones do. But I quickly get rid of them. Personally, I just feel as adults that both cam models and customers need to learn boundaries and what not to cross. I just get angry when my customers feel like it is the norm to ask me as pso/cam model to meet in real life. I find it a bit gross when most of my customers behave themselves but I have been seeing newbies getting this strange idea that it is okay. It is not okay with me.

I say this because most of my customers know that this is just illusions and fantasy. No, my cam/pso/texting income does not come from customers who are emotional connected with me. They spend on me because I am one of the few sex workers who is willing to go into the dark realm with them. You see, many my cam customers are often True Alphas, Dark Triad men, serious occultists, and others looking to talk about dark things. Some customers come to challenge my knowledge about the occult or world in general. Some dark triad men and true Alphas try to topped me as dominant dark triad woman. So, we mindfuck each other in privates or skype sessions. However, I do not play the darker games with them. They pay me because they are jaded and looking for a woman to challenge them. So, your post might be true for many cam models but that is not really true about why I get paid.

Actually meeting with them is totally forbidden but creating an atmosphere, where there is no clear distinction between cam entertainment and real life, that is totally what is taught as a major selling point for tokens. And very sadly for all models who clearly say there is clear line and that everything is only a fantasy, this "works" fantastic. It just does. Look at it from a user's perspective: Two girls makes great shows, one of these additionally states that "maybe" meeting in person is possible, which model would you spend your money on?Like it or not, it sells.

My big spenders tend to like me, well, because they like me. And I like them, the majority of the time. And I talk to them offline in my spare time, chat with them about their life. I do. They give me money because they want me to do well, and live well. I also want them to be happy, so I never make them believe its anything more than what it is. I have had people who have tried to push my boundaries and sometimes it's hard, not because of the money, but because they so, SO want it to be more than what it is, and I honestly feel badly for them.

It's hard to say its just a fantasy, because I'm just me and they are just them and people are, well, people and are always hoping to find meaningful connections to other people. But this is why sex work is hard, because of the emotional labor involved. I respect the hell out of the ladies who do sex work and don't get caught in the trap of letting their boundaries get pushed or start considering it a "con" to get money out of their clients. It's important to consider the fact that the person on the other side of that computer is a human with human feelings who could just be lonely and want to reach out to someone. We expect our clients to respect our feelings and think of us as human and we need to extend that kindness to the people who are willing to lay down their time and money to support us.

Balancing that with the fact that there are also people who try to take advantage of us is, well, kind of the crux of this story, isn't it? Both clients and models. And muddling through all of that can be incredibly complicated and some people just aren't good at dealing with that.

I think it's shitty that she lead you on, but I'm also not sure how much of this was her being young and well, not handling that component of it well. She might just be a terrible person or she might just not know how to handle what happened.

@Frustrated is common sense to discuss what to expect if a model and a member are going to meet.I did meet with someone and it was alright,I almost meet with someone but he got weird like a month before he was supposed to come,no I don`t feel comfortable with someone who freaks out if i don`t text back in the next min, dick pics are not a good way to wake me up and no we will not go to a sex store together, see everything was alright until he started to show his true colors.I am here for a good time and make money, not looking for prince charming.I just don`t meet with anyone anymore,is better for everyone
Oh yeah the studios are telling you not to encourage them on meting just for your own safety,at the end of the day is your call

Is not the studio`s fault for the models behavior,I am not sorry for exposing this, some people are just shitty like that and would do anything for a dollar, next time you hear a model saying for the 3rd time that week that someone is in hospital or her dog needs a surgery just...don`t!

I don't know what to say, I'm from that country which is subject of "stolen kidneys" and truth be told the "drama queen here" and the "lacrimosa" story has nothing to do with the title. I felt a bit indirectly harassed because some people see Romania like a garbage dump full with beggars, gypsy and bad people. I'm not an ambassador for my country here and you can visit this country without being robbed.
:/

But sometimes it IS the studio. Again, not all studios push unethical practices, but it isn't uncommon. I get it, you don't want people shitting on EE studios. There are lots of wonderful beneficial ones. But than you have your scummy pimpish ones. You have them over here in America too. I know of one that puts their models in closet sized rooms in a non-airconditioned building and makes models do shows they don't want to do on the threat of firing or fined.

Lol. It's just a traveling joke and myth. Same joke can be applied when traveling to any unknown country.

I hear you. OP has used xenophobic myth as the thread title to get more attention for his drama. That is not ok.

I "took the chill pill as suggested" and decided not to be offended. There are so many "jokes" about USA and "myths" some of them are funny, some of them makes you think. Here's the last popular one
USA bombs nations and Europe shelters the refugees -- of course I know that is not entirely true but I don't throw with dirt in every US citizen do I ?!. This is my last comment on this topic because I don't want to open and discuss polemics on this amazing community, which is, by the way a great source of info and helping platform for models and other adult orientated services.
Happy Holidays from Romania

@Dan202
Just for reference...as an American growing up in a small midwest town: some people say even going to big cities within the US will result in your kidneys being stolen. Other places my family said would cause my death via organ harvest: London, Paris, Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Miami Florida, San Francisco, St Louis Missouri, Prague...

I "took the chill pill as suggested" and decided not to be offended.

It is really tough to not be offended these days. A thick skin is rare. I don't think op meant anything. It is less a Romanian thing than it is a traveling thing. More of a 'beware' based upon dumb jokes.

Damn, I am no official representative of my city, but come on, they aren't gonna harvest your organs. They will kill you and steal your cell phone, but your organs are safe (they don't know how to do that stuff). :)
They might bounce with your new Nike's, but they wouldn't know a kidney if they tripped over it.

That's why I became an organ donor, the chance I might someday visit St Louis. Be a real shame to go to waste after I bled out in the street.

True dat! Just as a reminder to everyone, do what JJTP did and fill out that back of your driver license. St. Louis has a ton of things: apparently we lead in the country in people having sex. We are also in the top of sex diseases and murder crimes.

But with the bad comes the good:

"I'm from the loop and I'm proud" I think this still holds up. Cool shit.

In my case she promised to love me not fuck me so I found her more believable for some reason. Had you said she wanted to fuck me I would of considered it a fantasy. For whatever reason her telling me she wanted to spend her life with me (and not dwelling on the sexual) in fact even being bashful when discussing intimacy made her more believable. At least to me.

You know, that some peoples' hustle is to pull on the heart strings instead of going just for sex. It makes them more believable in the eyes of their customers. However, your "friend" played a more darker hustle with you. Personally, I avoid pulling on heart strings or going straight for the sex. Let's just say...there is a reason why I can play the femme fatale, occultic girlfriend, and ice princess so realistically. However, I am pretty light-hearted and fun about it.Anyways, I believe that you are would better off not dwelling on that too much. :cat:

Thank you for the insight. I too believe that the lack of sex made things more believable (at least for me). And I appreciate and respect that you are honest with your customers as I think it a disservice to the client and gives the profession a black eye to play such games with them. Thank you again for your insight and commentary.
