Tip Menu Prices?

Hey guys! I've been planning to cam for a little while now as I already share content on my tumblr, I just got approved/verified on CB. I'm wondering what some of your tip menus look like? I've been lurking in some girl's rooms to get an idea of their's as well. I'm just curious as to what you guys personally charge token wise for things like, flashing, anal, toys, etc. !

Also, is it true on CB you only keep about 50% of what you make? I've been using this token to dollar converter to get sort of an idea for my own tip menu, and I'm wondering if it's conversion is accurate at all?

While I'm not a cam model myself, rather a mod for someone else. Yes it is true. You make a nickle for every token that is tipped. So a good starting point Would be to do small tip items (below 100 tokens) in increments of 20 tokens. That way You're getting an amount of dollars instead of loose change. For bigger items its more up to you cause someone really wanting to see you do something will tip the amount necessary only exception being a ridiculously high amount(3000-5000 tokens or higher.)

As you build up numbers of followers you can adjust your prices. How high (or low) you go may be determined by what your regulars can afford. But that's just a members opinion.

While it is good to take into considerate what is/isn’t realistic, a cam model should not have to deal with members trying to negotiate prices with her. Porn is a luxury...not a yard sale.

If a guy wants to see tits/ass that badly, he can tip your desired amount (50 MFC tokens or $5 GOLD on Streamate seems to be the standard to flash), or he can hush up and just enjoying watching your cam room for free...and hope some other guy tips her for a flash instead.

If models always based every decision on what the guy considers “affordable,” or what he wants to pay, she’d probably be doing Skype shows for 100-200 tokens or dildo shows in public chat for 100 tokens. Even when models on ImLive are offering private shows at $1.99/min. (or is it $1.80?), there are still gonna be members asking for her discount code. Lol. Because members will often try to pay the cheapest rate they think the model will go for.

It’s really up to you to decide what you think is a reasonable amount to offer each of these things to an audience of several public chat viewers.

As this thread is in the Ask-A-Model section, I hope that more models will weigh in.

I havent been camming for long but this is true i have some users that are more then happy to tip what i ask for but then again there will always be users saying ur prices are to high other models charge this and that i think the safest bet for new models is nothing to hi or low

Don’t give away anything for less than you are comfortable with. If I get a haggler, I encourage them to find a friend to go halfsies with or rally the room for teamwork. Literally my #1 room rule is “I don’t owe you shit” and you don’t owe anyone anything either.

The more a member/customer bulk buys tokens, the more HE/SHE will save.
For me right now if I buy 100 tokens, I save nothing and I am being charged about 13cents PER token.
If I buy 2,000 in a bulk, I will save about 40%, which is 8centes PER token.

However, regardless of how the customer/member buys the token, you, the model will always sell 1 token for 5 cents (100 tokens for you would be $5 / 1,000 tokens would be $50 cashout). The site take their cut FROM the member, not from you.

You may already know, but also remember that you'll need to set aside some of the payout from CB for the tax man. It won't be already deducted from your pay like a W2 employee, if that's what you're used to (at least if you're in the US).

From a member standpoint. I prefer when Models have tip menus of any kind versus not having them at all. It has been my experience that models that don't have menus are flaky with what they charge day to day. Which if I like the model and I'm trying to be a regular it helps to kind of have a base of what everything is. I've only really stuck to being a regular of one model without a tip menu. And even still I don't know what she's going to charge for flashes. So most of my tips are just appreciation/countdown driven/ or if she's playing token keno they go to that.

I always ban the guys who ask for a flash with no tip, tips half with "promises" they will tip the remainder if they like, or asks to see something on the "promise" hellh take me to private if he likes. I don't ban them right away, I wait for someone else to eventually tip to ban, or they will eventually leave to bug someone else.

Also, I am not amused by the occasional member who does several 1-token tips (or 5-token tips), and then says "There...I tipped 50 (for the flash)." *sigh* Bishhh, just tip the freakin' 50 tokens as a single tip, and stop being difficult...damn. I swear, most of these 1-token tipping guys are attention whores looking for a pat on the back...for giving folks the illusion of "making it rain." Lol.
