Hey everyone,
I'm trying to build a page on my site that shows which of my models are currently live.
I'm using the SMLive API that Streamate provides to affiliates, and I can connect to it successfully - it works fine when I do a general search for live performers.
The problem is: when I search for a specific model by username, the API tells me she exists (TotalResultCount = 1) but returns zero data about her. No name, no stream status, nothing. She's clearly online and streaming publicly, but the API won't give me her details.
I've tried with several models and the pattern is always the same - some return data normally, others just return an empty result even when they're live.
Has anyone experienced this? My best guess is that some models have a setting that blocks them from appearing on affiliate sites, but I can't find any documentation about this.
Specifically I'd like to know:
- Is there a way to know in advance which models are available through the affiliate API?
- Is there something I'm doing wrong in my query?
- Has anyone found a workaround for this?
Thanks in advance!
