I know Amber is married, if you're in a relationship how did you bring up the idea of camming.

If you're not currently in a relationship, do you actively look for a boyfriend/girlfriend , go out with "customers" , do meet and greets at your local Church?

I go to school studying Computer Technology 5 days a week, I work full time 6 days a week. I'm into time management. I post regularly on 4 forums, stop in occasionally on twitter and now here I am at ACF prying into your personal lives.

And I can only imagine the difficulty if you've got kids that need to be shuttled to school and school events.

I admire those of you that have a switch box, where you can turn on and off being mommy, wife and promoter.

Well, all I can say is that I saved a lot of time and upped my success in camming by switching to single.

But seriously... I find relationships are extremely difficult, if not near impossible, to keep with my style of camming. Camming is absolutely my life and it can tend to push people away and isolate myself. I personally will not actively look for a partner(s) while I'm still camming. If something happens, that's cool, but I don't have time for the dating scene.

I met my partner through camming a year ago! I didn't set out to date a member..we just fell for eachother. But anyways,
I think dating a customer made things way easier for me since I didn't have to introduce camming to them. Every guy I've casually would hang out with before him all seemed to lack maturity about it, get jealous or I just couldn't see fitting into my lifestyle.

I'm a wife and Mom. I don't feel like it's exactly switching on and off any more than with any other kind of job. I feel like work is my "me time" where I just cut off from everything but that's something I would do anyway. I had always wanted to get into sex work of some kind and my husband knew that when I met him but he was always against it. So when I brought it up, it was something he had already known I was interested in anyway. We talked a lot about it before I started the biggest just being to keep our communication open and tell each other if anything came up that started making either one of us uncomfortable.

I did date for a short time while camming, my husband and I were separated for a while. It was hell. I'm completely out about my job so when I started hanging out with men, they already knew and it's all they wanted to talk about. Even if they were nice guys they would just be innocently fascinated and
I felt very uncomfortable. Before I would open up about it with friends, mainly female friends but now I felt like people were jumping intimacy levels. It's weird but camming honestly is extremely intimate and just because it's something I share with strangers who become friends, doesn't mean I'm willing to share it with someone I'm dating which is just not something that is going to sit well with most men at all.

My partner introduced me to camming.

Sure, it was a little rocky until we figured out what he was comfortable with, and not comfortable with, but mostly it hasn't been an issue.

My partner introduced me to camming too! I didn't know what it was and never considered it seriously, until I randomly started researching.... and realized it's all I want to do! My partner is super supportive, helps me with cam setups, we often talk a lot about our favourite models and new things I could try. I am mostly non-nude but my partner is trying to convince me that I would have much better success if I was nude lol. I keep on telling him that's not how it works and that stripping naked alone wont really do anything and there are so many other things that go into it. He doesn't seem to believe me lol

I showed him my paycheck & told him how much I enjoyed it. He couldn't really argue after that (his previous objections were that I wouldn't actually ever get paid/no one would want to pay me). Suck itttt.

I'm married with 2 kids and also pregnant! My husband is a photographer who I met through local modeling and it's really just been a natural thing for us both. I was doing fetish photo and video shoots for a while before we got married, then when I discovered camming he was excited to know I wouldn't have to travel a bunch anymore! As weird as it is, I feel like him and I both know sex work is just what I was meant to do lol

I tried out camming briefly around a year ago and at that point we'd been seeing each other for six months and he wasn't keen on the idea.I've started again he can see the benefits, camming has helped me financially and improved my body confidence.

I'm careful not to make him feel camming is more important than him, so I work to a schedule, when he's at work or out in the evenings and weekends I cam. The other day he came home when I was in private and almost walked in the bedroom! I thought he'd be jealous but he found it really hot. :D I'm lucky that our relationship is the way it is, we never really judge each other and are both very accepting, open minded people. I don't find it difficult to "switch" I act like myself on cam and I've always been extremely sexual.

I really admire the ladies here with children and other commitments who seem to be able to do everything at once, it's seriously impressive. I feel like when people have children they develop this super hero like motivation despite the sleepless nights :dead:

I've dated a bit throughout my time in the adult industry. I typically tell my partner what I do within a month, before it gets too serious but right around when I'm thinking about making it more serious. Before that, I say I'm an "editor", which isn't technically lying since I edit my own videos ;) I'm happy to say that I haven't had anyone disagree with or try to dissuade me from this work. I'm very clear that this is something I enjoy doing, and that there won't be any changes. It goes over just fine.

I have to find people through meetup.com or other online methods, or have met them through someone. There's just no way for me to meet people otherwise. I'm hiding away inside MOST of the time! Pretty much all of my friends are online friends. The ones I have in person still talk to me more online or via text, rather than face to face.

Having started as an escort way back in the day (almost 10 years ago now), I knew this was the industry for me. I just love everything about it. When I took a few years off, I was miserable and jumped around from job to job. THIS is my "place" :)
