So I was a stipper for awhile and the summer was the dead time because most guys were doing stuff outside or home with kids. And the winter was the busiest with the exception of December and early January, because everyone was broke from Christmas.

Is it similar in the camming world?

Members what time of the year are you on most and least? Why?

Cam girls, have you noticed any trends in busy and slow times of the years? Why do you think that is?

It does have a decrease. But I don't think MFC or any other site is as dead as a strip club on Christmas Eve. Don't forget that when it is Summer there, it is Winter in some place else.

I pulled some data:

Ignore the big drops on Jan 27 (site down while moving to a new server) and Feb 13 (problems connecting to MFC). The real lowest day was Dec 31 and the second lowest day was Dec 25. The Y axis represents the minutes.

Yep, from the 2 years I've spent on MFC I'd definitely say that camming is the same. Also bank holidays and stuff are usually slow due to people doing social things with their families. I've actually found that many career choices have the same patterns as this too. Sales always slow down in summer hols in any commercial trade as people are away, and the art world pretty much shuts down from June to September every year, so it's not just us camgirls that have to work harder to make our goals lol.

As a perv, I can attest that Christmas Day and New Years Eve are incredibly slow days on MFC, with about 1/5th of the regular number of models online. That actually might be a good time for a struggling model to get noticed.
