Your cam score always starts at 1000, unless you're a porn star who's getting special treatment. From there, if you suck, your camscore will go down, and if you don't suck, it will go up. Since your camscore is going up, that means you're on the right track. Eventually it will plateau based on your level of camwhore skill, but that's completely up to you where it happens.

I went on cam after writing here last night, 3 hours and 2000 tokens later my cam score went up to 1865.2. Using this information, I've used a calculator done some math and found that making 666.666667 an hour for three hours will increase camscore by 80.9.. I really really pushed the ratings and admires to, and comments on my profile. I guess I'll have to make more observations to find out what can be considered as a bad earning per hour, relating to camscore.

All tips over 90 tokens can be rated. I'm not at home right now, so I can't tell you exactly where to go. It's just like rating privates, but the good part of rating tips is they can only be rated a 10.

I think we might find it more confusing coz we're used to AW where people can give feedback on everything they buy and that makes your rating higher, easy peasy, lol.

I think they mean when someone tips you 90 or more, they can rate the tip.

Since posting the other day about my camscore being 895, I haven't been online since then, and all I've made is 20 tokens from bringafriend, yet my camscore has gone UP to 898. WTF. Lol. It's making my little brain hurt trying to work that out haha.

I'm pretty sure something's broken with that listing, as I have moved around on the top 20 and my admin page still says I'm ranked 17. Been suck like that all week.

Also, reminder to any models in this thread who are new... if you MFC mail me on your model account and tell me what your name is here on the board, I will give you access to the models only forum for lots more posts like this. I think we already had a couple camscore threads in there, lol.

You are competing against girls who have been working since the beginning of the month. I believe the Miss MFC ranking goes by accumulated tips- so that means you need to make more than the other girls in your rank-range to move up.

Is camscore updated daily automatically, or do models have to go in manually and "refresh" their profile? That's what just happened to me. I woke up and was flabbergasted to still be stuck at 888.6 and started to panic. Then I saw something on my profile that needed to be fixed so I edited it and then Tada! My profile reflected 50 more ratings and my camscore shot up 400 points. :?

This stuff is confusing and stressful (yet what Bawksy said is true, hence the stress part).

Yes, if they didn't the day of, the can do it anytime. A Premium member has a list of who they have tipped, and what amounts. If the tip is over 90 tokens (or Privates over 90 tokens) can be rated. They just have to take the time to do the rating

My Miss MFC ranking is 1744 today! I guess there must be loads of models who don't earn much then. My camscore's lower too, and I didn't even go on yesterday. :lol:

Yeah... I haven't made much this month either and my ranking is pretty good. We know it's only based on income too.


All I can say is that I've never seen so many models make so little, and I hope that they can hold on if this is their only source of income. After the summer it should pick up.

Well I'm right around #1186 in miss MFC or so when I looked last night.. I've only been able to actually get on and "work" maybe 6-7 nights this whole month due to family and living at home but I've pulled in around $900, so miss #2485 couldn't of made too much of a load to be that far behind..

Fiance and me are trying to find anything we can to get us a quick lump of money then find a damn co-signer for an apt so we can get the hell out and I can do this as often as I would like. We're actually meeting a producer here in Houston later tonight about him doing movies possibly if the moneys right. Why can't there be some kinda craigslist type page for cam models to find each other that are also looking for places to live. Get like 2 couples who both do it and just rent a nice house together! lol

My two cents of information on the cam rates.... I have a 12.000+ cam rate now ...on my new account that I started on June 4th....
Just like Mary (ex Golden Lady) I mobilized my hardcore fans on the first days I was in , doing very few hours and getting big tips, my cam rate was 9000+ after two days ...and gradually climbed this month...How? It seems very simple (believe me it isn't)...The more you make an hour the higher the cam rate > right ? WRONG ! I work around 3 hours a day in general and my hourly amount of tokens tops most days I had in February when I was Miss MFC.... Then I had a 26.000 cam rate (Not an inflated porn star rate but an actual rate with bought tokens , no single BAF token) now I have 12.000+. Mind you I am perfectly happy with the 12.000 I have ...but either MFC changed something in the way they do their calculations or it is depending on with which leg Leo stepped out of bed in the morning....

In my opinion it is very strange that MFC can not give one straight answer on how to increase your cam rate. All girls know that a higher cam rate means a higher VISIBLE position and from a marketing point of view it is important to know how to get there. I do not want to start a discussion on 'some' cam rates higher up as I understand the marketing idea behind it for MFC....Still for us regular models a cam rate guideline would be nice... :whistle:

As for Mary, I am only going off of what was posted by her "Boss" on her profile. He obviously had access to her account with the Goldenlady screen name. Models can be working FOR a studio even if they aren't IN a studio while on camera. So I only guess that she was still employed by the studio. Read her old profile comments if you want to see what I'm referencing.

To me, it's not tacky at all since it's more personalized how you do it. It's easy to post screen caps to thank big tippers. You put effort into those thank you messages. It says to me that you really appreciate it.

I guess everybody have an opinion about it I never thought its tacky or anything. Its kind of like when a bodybuilder wants to share his accomplishments with other people, or a girl wants to show to her friends what a huge closet she has. When I see other girls show their highest tips i always think "good for her!".

The difference with the bodybuilder situation (The girl example is a bit touchier) is that the bodybuilder really has to work hard in for those achievements. I don't mean to say that a model who gets a large tip hasn't worked for it, because usually a model does have to work hard in order for member's to feel like the model deserves the large tips. But at the same time, there are some models who don't do much, but because some guy decides they like the way the model looks, they will tip largely (The sugar daddy models). In the end, it's completely a crapshoot knowing if the model really earned a large tip, or if it was arbitrary giveaway.

As for the other example, it's similar to the model situation. In some cases, a girl worked hard to earn the money to afford all of the clothes for her closet. But there's also another real example that her daddy gave her the money and/or clothes. Showing off in the latter situation is like rubbing it in someone's face that they can get the clothes. So, I would go with tacky.

I see your point, but most models do HAVE to work hard for what they get. We are not talking about scam tips. No matter why she got it, for doing a hard core show or for the most beautiful smile, she made someone feel good, and they decided to show appreciation. Either way, don't you think "Good for her"? I do..
Imagine that you won the lottery LOL..after all you bought yourself a Few Nice Cars...don't you want to show it to your friends and them to be happy for you?

Well, there is something to consider. Yes, friends will be happy for you for having a nice car, but a random person who sees you driving in your nice car could be jealous. Not saying everyone would be jealous every time, but it can easily happen. Likewise, a model's friend would always like seeing that their friend got a big tip, but if a random person/model goes into her profile and sees a screencap of a large tip, they might be happy for her, or they might feel that that person is just showing off.

Not saying your idea is universally wrong, but just showing how it can easily be seen as tacky. A screencap of a large tip would be better suited for, say, these forums, where people know the models and will feel happy for them. Of course, not every model has a place like this, but I think it's generally better for the model to avoid posting them on their profile.

Smart (and greedy) studio is smart. GoldenLady now has a new model on cam under that account, causing quite the confusion amongst members and the lounge. But it's also getting her a lot of attention right off the bat.
