Hello!
I've just created my account hoping to be a part time cam model but I'm just wondering, since the money will come in form of cheques, the Canadian government will obviously have me account for the money when I do my taxes, will I have to have some sort of verification to be contracting myself to a US site? I know I could contact an accountant of some sort but explaining what I'm doing for the money is a bit of a sensitive conversation :P
thanks so much to anyone that can help <3

Hey! I'm not 100% sure I understand but I'll try to explain what I think I know :handgestures-salute:

You don't have to verify anything; when we sign up with camsites we don't give our tax info, and they don't send any. So it's 100% up to you to report your income accurately. I save all of my paystubs and track my monthly earnings, so it's easy at the end of the year to compile them. Then you just report your income as self-employment, because we aren't employees of camsites.

If you get verified model status, there's a good thread about Canadian taxes that might have more info.
