This is such a joke... after literally days of back and forth emails of me enraged at him for changing my video descriptions, titles, etc, and him denying it altogether or fabricating excuses (this was back in December 2018). he has the nerve to now ask me for the "green light" aka consent for his "team" to change them.

I've attached an image of our most recent email regarding this complaint as well as proof of one of the videos title's that were changed which was originally titled "Cheating Wife," a SOLO female POV that he and his "team" deemed "misleading" so they changed the it to "Young cheating wife." How that would make the video any less misleading, which it isn't to begin with, I'm not sure... smh.

I'm filming a Youtube video to jump start my adult site reviews and I'll definitely be urging models to stay far away from XHamster's platform.

And keep in mind, the way this site works the admins have to approve your video to go live after you upload it and input the description, title, tags, price, etc. So, the videos that are being changed for any sort of possible reasonable explanation should have been addressed the moment the videos were uploaded and pending approval and not months after...

I'm still trying to figure out how on earth that's "misleading". Their reasoning seems to be something like "I wouldn't jerk off to this title" or something equally silly.

"Please let them change it because you are you are my favorite model. Smiley face."

Unprofessional and manipulative. Sites shouldn't be playing favorites or telling models this. The reason your videos aren't selling on there is their traffic, not because you didn't specify your age in the title. That is stupid, your videos sell fine elsewhere with the same title.

This pisses me off a bit actually if the title were intentionally misleading I would not object to them changing it, but here they are changing it because they think it will make more money. They are not some studio movie executive that commissioned the making of the clip so they should not be able to choose what the title should be. Furthermore Firefly or @xHamster Premium as his name is on this forum is being completely unprofessional in this email. I work in customer service and even if you have some clients you like more or less than others all clients should get treated the same and you never put hugs and smiley faces in an email to a client. If I had written a similar email at my job to a client I would most likely be marched to a meeting with HR and given a written reprimand. I agree with you that people should stay away from xHamster.

How are they so thorough and scrutinizing to videos that are uploaded by the actual model in the video yet allow thousands of people to upload stolen content that clearly doesn't belong to them? It's so ass-backwards I don't even get it. This site is the worst.

I hope you're already taking advantage of Pornhubs model payment program, they treat us much better over there.

Definitely, yes. The purpose must definitely be to increase sales on my videos, however the ridiculous part is they will never admit to it and instead beat around the bush trying to fabricate any excuse that sounds more legitimate. I honestly don't even care if it worked and my sales went up, at the end of the day I filmed it and I'll choose what title what video of mine has. It would be a completely different story if they had asked me, "Hey look, I love your videos but I think you would make more money on 'X' video if it were titled 'X' instead," and still let me have the final say rather than simply going ahead and changing it without even notifying me...

The other title that was changed was originally "Lesbian Sleep Over" and was changed to "Retelling a lesbian slumber party." That one could make sense why, however the screenshots and teasers clearly show a solo female pov and the description clearly states that I am simply re-telling a lesbian sleep over... smh.

And thanks Amber, I have been figuring out Pornhub slowly as I'm juggling a lot, just got my custom videos activated on there! :)

I know this wrapped up a couple weeks ago already, but thank you for starting and having this thread documenting these issues with xHamster. I was quite literally about to hit the send button and have now reconsidered dealing with them. It seems I would be spending a lot of time with the same foolishness per the response their rep gave above. I'd rather see how it shakes out than take on a headache.

Also, Dom/sub must have a second party present in the scene to qualify? Wtf? Cannot and will not agree there. So, by that reasoning, a solo vid of say, a bound sub left in torment, for example, goes under what? "Home alone"??

There are so many clip sites that you can sign up for where the work you put in is payed for in sales. The amount of work you'll put into XHamster outweighs the payout entirely aside from any of the extra hassle that goes along with working with the unprofessional admins that run their site. Definitely sticking to the higher traffic sites is always the better call!
