Chaturbate Account Banned

Hi @punker barbie - Please help me get my account back. I just sent in a support ticket Y5PKV5-0M40K because my account was banned. I don't believe I actually said anything that was against TOS but I did insult a viewer because he kept harassing me in chat. I'm sure this person reported me for not catering to his demands.

I apologize for getting angry and insulting him but its getting difficult to deal with all of the harassing users on this site. I have tried banning harassing users but they simply create a new account and come back, some times creating more than 10 or 20 accounts in the matter of an hour.

Permanently banning user accounts is easier and takes much less effort than engaging with them in chat.

He lets grays chat, I bet. Biggest mistake ever. That's the only way anyone is creating new accounts and he probably used a slur or three or twelve, so there's that.

I understand… many people is banned because of “trolls” they want make models banned. I think chaturbate support should protect models in this situations…

There are countless ways Chaturbate protects models from trolls, you just have to use them. You can put up a list of words that are TOS violations in your chat settings. You can turn greys off and don't let them chat at all. You can use the Chatursafe filter settings in the chat settings and set them to whatever you want their level of restriction to be...you can use moderators, there are apps that filter grey chat...

I don't allow greys to chat, I actually only tippers to chat but people think 1 tk entitles them to harass me.

I permanently block accounts but that means nothing when chaturbate lets users creates hundreds of accounts without an email verification. They can't chat in my room so they create usernames with slurs and cryptic messages.

I'm not sure what caused the ban but I do regret using inappropriate language. I didn't mean to intend to threaten illegal or unsafe actions, I was just frustrated in the moment. Despite everything, I do truly value being a part of the Chaturbate community so please consider any alternative disciplinary action instead of a permanent ban.

@punker barbie btw here's an example of when someone created dozens of accounts to evade my bans. They usually come from the same region. I even tried banning the region but then they simply change VPN locations. I stopped tracking after a while but I have records of other accounts they have created too if needed.

Maybe just ignore the usernames? If they're not chatting, why do you care so much? My point is, what they're doing is working... what you're doing is not. Change your tactics. Good luck.
