Celebrating getting a check of unclaimed funds from the state (btw if you are in US it's a govt program to help accountants match debt on books to people they owe and can't find, look into it cuz I found more to claim since this happened.)

Was able to replace the ipad and apple pencil that I've been using for years which BOTH recently died (one due to age the other to not emptying pockets before laundry) to do digital art and fully pay my outstanding dental debt!

Cam/phonesex going okay but too much with a new whale, not enough with regulars (for my taste/long-term strategy).

I switched to another email service (fastmail) and they have an option to disable avatars....finally! What a relief to finally be rid of those space wasting circles that almost always consist of a single letter!

Edit: I know you could do it with Gmail compact theme but that disabled previews too so it was kind of pointless

I cannot wait to start getting yellow peaches again!

I've always wondered, if you smash the TV, do they just replace it with a new one before the next customers come? 😅 Legit question, by the way
YES!!! There is a rage room near me, and it’s awesome! When I go, it’s always when I’m dealing with heartbreak, and really wanting to get shit off my chest. I get to beat the hell out of a T.V., etc. with a baseball bat, and throw beer bottles at the wall, and I have a rage room playlist of music I play on their Alexa while there. One time I even brought a picture of the guy (the asshole), so I could tape it to the T.V. I was getting ready to smash to bits.

I’ve never done axe-throwing before, but I imagine this is waaayyy better than axe-throwing.

Both French and German influences, depending on which one you’re closest to!
So there are apparently areas of Switzerland that are also 100% Italian speaking. Most is based on what area they are bordering, for obvious reasons, but the Alpine areas I was in was basically German primary with secondary capabilities in French, Italian, *and* English, especially the tourism/service industry folks.

The snowboarding was great.

Interesting. Good to know and better understand 👌🏼

Omg Eli's jelly.

Hahaha so jelly, she's speaking in the 3rd person about herself again 😆
I don't know how you guys do it. I've been skiing since a very young age. I tried snow boarding once, and I was bruised head to foot, after just one day.
It wasn't even a 8 hour day either (??).

Apparently, people tell me, it's a real steep learning curve though 😆

My guess is they go around to local pawn shops and buy things cheap and sweep trash days for stuff to break. Probably a storage unit on site to hold it.

If they happen to have another T.V. available…yes, as soon as they get the broken glass and everything all cleaned up in that room. In the meantime…they have like 3 or 4 different rooms that can be used. When I’m done in the room, someone comes in and cleans up all the broken glass and everything. Customers get to pick out which breakables they want for their session (beer bottles, wine bottles, etc.), and put them into the crate. In the room there’s already a crate (or bucket) containing a baseball bat, hammer, and other items you can grab to break stuff. I always go with the baseball bat.

People donate a ton of stuff that can be used to smash. The owner has shown me the back room where they store all this stuff that’s been given to them, as well as the area out back where there’s a lot of other items people have donated. T.V.’s, children’s toys, a toilet, etc. Probably all kinds of electronics that don’t work anymore that people are happy to donate. I know there are always listings online of people looking to get rid of old or broken laptops, T.V.’s, and such.

Oh yes! I have one near me, I've never been as a customer but I have donated stuff numerous times. It's hard to dispose of e-waste but they are happy to take it.
I've given them CRT monitors, old tvs, printers, computer cases, a space heater.. LOL

Interesting, our local places say no CRT monitors.

Indeed. Indeed. Can you imagine? Going to Conclave and thinking about your flight home and suddenly you are the permanent resident of the Vatican?

I watched the whole thing and tears just streamed down my face at what he must be thinking, now Father to 1.8 billion people. How grounding that must be.
