This year, I come to win.

I don't mean "orgasm" I mean, I am here to win! LOL

So, I've been thinking about all the years I have been camming,

which will be 5 years in October of 2013, and I thought to myself,

"Seriously, I should be reaching my financial goals by now after all

I have studied about this industry, even despite my non-perfect body, face, etc."

So, I am going to announce it right here, I have a plan to win Miss MyFreeCams, and

to reach my financial goals, which including paying off all of my student loan debts, which

are almost $60,000 within the next year to two years.

Now, here is my next Daily Thought, if / when I win, I might publish my diary. I'm keeping

a diary about everything I have gathered as far as how to win as a web cam model, and

if I reach my goals, then I am going to share my secrets.

ok. i get a new computer. awesome sauce! its a beast. new keyboard. awesome! the angle of the arc is different so more typos, but im catching up.
new mouse, its perfect, no complaints.

now windows 7. it isnt as sucky as i had feared. but i go to do a backup. i even got a brand spanking new 32 gig thumb drive just for this purpose,

as if! my computer says to me " dude, really? youre going to poke that puny thing in me and expect me to be satisfied?"

i reply: " but baby! my last computer said that 16 was enough!"

"well your last computer was a whore!"

"honey, dont be upset, just back me up at 32 gigs, its not that small!"

"oh really? anything under 164 and i dont even feel it mister!"

so here i sit looking at my tiny shriveled thumb drive, my fragile male ego shattered pondering exactly what it takes to satisfy a computer these days

That reminds me of my first computer, and its 17 gig, after formatting, hard drive. It seemed huge when I bought it, but then I filled it up. So sad trying to decide what to delete, that porn took a long time to download over dial up :geek: .

Can't back up on a small thumbdrive, but you can make a system recovery disk etc, and create a seperate partition for backups or - by far best option imo - buy a 128gb+ SSD, put windows on that, and back it up on the HDD.

Mine cost around $600 or so and while it wasn't top of the line when I got it a year ago it's more than enough to handle most of the games out there.
The only thing I didn't get that I wish I had was an SSD but it would've killed my budget

i got one from a reliable fella on ebay that me and friends have gotten stuff from before. i just got the computer and no extras from him and with a 3.8 gh intel processor an invidia 2 gb video card and 16 gigs of ram i came in at 900 almost even before shipping. mine isnt absolute top of the line, but i can run not only neverwinter, but do it while im running malware bites, security essentials and spybot, at the same time alongside itunes and never use more than 35 percent of the processor. the guy had stuff that was pretty dang nice in the 6-800 range

ok, just spent about 3 hours hangin and chatting with an old high school friend (who was kind enough to bring me his band's entire discography, woot for new tunes!). the convo ranged from vaping, cats, dogs, wicca, buddhism, all the way to mayan astrology and some guy named billie meiers who claims to have hung out with aliens for decades. my brain is all swiss cheesed!

How is neverwinter? I have it downloaded haven't played yet. Should hit you up we can slay orcses together and jazz.

I know some people hate it when the same post is made across five different platforms, but damnit, not everyone here follows my twitter, and not everyone on twitter cares about my forums and such, so I have to post it here.

Besides, I'm so damn proud of this, that I have to gloat a little.

I have successfully ported my forum from one site to another. I found out how to modify what sql it was looking for and successfully did the modifications. Huzzah! Now the four people who had actually signed up at the old place don't have to sign up again.

And we never have to worry about losing everything again, since I know how to do it and how to back it up to port for next time.

PLUS new server doesn't require space for ads on my website, which means I could make it the more stream-lined version I wanted to begin with.

BUT the twitter widget decided to stop working. Seems to be a problem on twitter's end. So I just took that part out, and maybe another day I'll add a page for widgets. Then I can put a twitter widget, a blogger widget, and a clips4sale widget all in the same place.

I feel so proud of myself for figuring out most of the port on my own, and only having to look up the one thing.

I leave my PM's open to anyone on myfreecams. There's been one model, who I've never actually gone into her room. I think she originally spotted me in another room and sent me a message with a kiss emote in it. Every time I'm online and she gets on cam she PM's me. I've tried chatting back with her but I don't think she speaks much English so it hasn't really happened. It's been a year since she started this according to the archives.
I went and tipped her. Normally I don't appreciate models trying to entice members from other models room. But, a year of PM's, at some you just have to acknowledge the tenacity.

I'm sure that would work just as well as a guy saying that he likes naked feet to a girl who usually wears stockings and laced up heels and hoping she'll take them off or stop wearing them. Could work for a picture maybe, but I doubt the girl is going to go barefoot when she likes how the heels and stockings work for her.

i've tried just asking for no make-up before and had answers like...
