Well, it's in Solthsteim (or whatever), but yea. My buddy got it and says you can actually ride a dragon. I hope that's accurate.

There are pictures of Redoran and Tellivani in the trailer as well, and dragon riding :)
You sure those aren't just branches of those houses? Remember in the time of Skyrim, the big volcano (forget the name) had exploded in Morrowind. That's part of why so many Dunmer are in Skyrim. Aren't the events of Morrowind and Nerevar like 400 hundred years in the past? I don't remember the ad mentioning anything about going into Morrowind, just Solthsteim.

Red Mountain, which blew up after the moon that was held aloft above Vivec City (which housed the Ministry of Truth) crashed into Vivec, triggering the eruption. It's been 200 years between the Oblivion Crisis and the events of Skyrim, and only a few years between the return of the Nerevarine and the Oblivion crisis. So, it's roughly 200 years. Also, given Solstheim's close proximity to Morrowind (close enough that you can see the smoking Red Mountain from the island) it was the first place people evacuated to. It stands to reason that the Great Houses would set up there, hence Telvanni mushroom buildings, and Redoran chitin.

The thing that excited me most was monsters that looked suspiciously like Ascended Sleepers, but I guess they're something else, and have to do with whatever fresh angry god's antics has lured you to Solstheim.

I'm still playing the main questline of Skyrim, and haven't made my way to Solsthiem yet, but I'm pretty excited for when I do head that way.

Do you play with mods?

Ran though all the options with TESedit and optimising everything with mods installed, then a clean reinstall with just the main game and DLCs, still won't work for more than 10 seconds. My PC is below minimum requirements. That combined with the usual badly written Beth code is the problem at the moment. Its just a matter of waiting for patches or a PC upgrade.

Ah, gotcha. I was gonna suggest BOSS, but yeah, low specs can put a damper on things. I waited until I got a new rig before I even decided to download the thing. I've got Oblivion so overmodded that I can't run it at higher than 15 fps on my old desktop.

zorry

I lurk there a lot, but there's something about the TES/BethSoft community on Reddit that kinda rubs me the wrong way. I love these games, I've put hundreds and hundreds of hours into the franchise, I'm into the lore and all the fun stuff, but it's like they take it just a little too seriously, and it starts to feel like a chore or homework, rather than a game.

yeah, when I finally got so sick of morrowind i couldn't play it any more it had made it up to about a 9 gb installation, which is not bad for a game that fits on a CD :) My Oblivion was nearly as bad. I really like Fallout and so have that and New Vegas going at the moment. I will give it a month or two and see what Skyrim is like then.
