only remember the Duke Nukem 3D, Duke Nukem Total Meltdown and Duke Nukem Land of the Babes.

I hope this new one will be a first-person shooter like Duke Nukem 3D.

It won't be. Since publisher 2k and developer Gearbox will actually finish it and release it. Unlike the tanked 3D Realms. :tongue3:
There's actually a playable demo at PAX this year.

I've known that the contract swapped hands again for a few months - the guys who have it now will most likely do something with it. If not, then at least I know who the contract would go to next.

I can't imagine Gearbox taking it and not getting it done. They have a GotY edition of Borderlands as well as a new DLC coming out soon, so funding for them is not an issue. They have the time and resources.

Also, turns out one of the guys in charge (?) at Gearbox got his career started at 3D Realms. So he's really not going to let this one slip away. This is his game.

I don't give a shit. I've been waiting over 13 years for this to be released. Young nice people are pronanly (probably? is that the word you went for here?) going to get it and have never played Duke Nukem I or II or 3D.
Same exact thing for the lovely people who've only played WoW and never played WarCraft RTS.
