Emoji Squares

Last few days on CB, I've been seeing square symbols instead of certain emojis in the chat. Example below.
I'm using the latest version of Chrome on Win10.
I've seen this in DMs and text messages on an iPhone when the iOS needs to be updated, but on a windows-based pc, what do the squares mean?

I followed the 'windows' link from that article, and seems it could be that it's a Win10 to Win11 thing. My laptop did update itself to Win11 but I reverted manually to Win10 by preference.

You may just have to wait until Microsoft rolls out an update with an updated emoji set.

Yep there's no hurry I suppose to update anything just so I can see the latest version of eggplant emojis everywhere
